There is soo much to see and do in Kadikoy (Asian side) which has a lot more European feel than the actual Euro side. It is a pity, you saw the worst part and left in 15 minutes. The place is full of cafes and bars and beautiful streets. You have Bahariye, Moda, Kalamış, Bağdat Avenue, Kuzguncuk, Uskudar and more and beautiful all along the Bosphorus. You should have at least stayed in Kadikoy and discover the narrow streets full of Western style cafes and shops.

To get another amazing viewpoint for free, you can go to Camlica Mosque on the Asian side, you can see 360 degrees views of Istanbul as the mosque is on a hill and high up. Next time you’re in the Asian side you could maybe check it out. The view from Topkapi Palace is to die for as it is stunning, but it isn’t free to enter, but well worth the ticket price just for those views. Another place you could go to for great views is Eyup Sultan. If you take the cable cars up to Pierre Loti (or walk up the many stairs to save a few liras) you get a very good viewpoint from there as well. Just some of my suggestions guys, hope it helps

@MattandJulia3 жыл бұрын
Yeah of course, so the borders are open, you just need to take a PCR test less than 72 hours before arrival. When you are here you need to keep social distancing and wear a mask at all times inside and outside (apart from in your hotel room obviously ☺️). However, Turkey recently stated that it is looking to open up completely for all tourists by the summer so this may well mean no PCR test required ☺️ People here by the way are really happy to see tourists back, many people in the industry and beyond have had a tough time over the past year or so! Hope this helps! ☺️🙌🏼

We are actually quite aware of the history of Istanbul, Turkey and many other places. We aim to make travel videos that are fun and informative, not history lessons. We are here to show people different places through our eyes and hopefully inspire people to travel. If you have something to share and want people to know about Istanbul - this comment section is the place. But if you are here just to patronise then that's not welcomed on our channel.
