Depends on your priority in life.. worth it if living there with kids.. go for it if one can afford it.. no need to go for extremes though

Security is more or less same in both community. But maintenance cost is too much in addition to EMI. Only good amount is being sucked cleverly. Both are concrete jails more or less. Better to invest in sip and lead a simple way in standalone apartment for middle class family

Truely, go for gated communities if you can afford. Choose the best builder. You can enjoy life in gated community and it will be good for your children activities and development too. Thank you sir for your nice explanation.

Looking 2 BHK Flat in EAST facing for staying in around 55 L in Kukatpally surrounding/Gajularamaram/Simhapuri Colony. Preferred in corner / privacy corridor entry / walkable distance to main road below half km. / Under construction also okay. If resale below 5 Yrs. okay. Not preferred last floor & road hitting flats.

Dont go for gated communities, just with the money you spend for maintainance if spend on SIP, you will see crores in 2 decades..

If the gated communities are good then why builders are not living in the same appartment. Builder is profitable but buyer end up with paying high maintenance and those are not come under any tax exception. Go and check alkapuri township which is far better than gated communities. If you have 1cr you will get 3bhk flat and around alkapuri you have 8 big parks. Don't lock your self in the high raise jails.

problem is new stand alone apartment projects are very few compared to gated projects now a days. We are getting calls only from gated community projects and from stand alone only resale flats are available
