If you are asking how long should it take to dry the aggregate sample? It depends. Here are some references for you ASTM C 70: Surface Moisture in Fine Aggregate; AASHTO T 85 and ASTM C 127: Specific Gravity and Absorption of Coarse Aggregate; AASHTO T 84 and ASTM C 128: Specific Gravity and Absorption of Fine Aggregate; AASHTO T 255: Total Evaporable Moisture Content of Aggregate by Drying; ASTM C 566: Total Moisture Content of Aggregate by Drying
