I was there with two of my daughters (one of them brought her fiance.) It was the show of a lifetime, literally. I had waited 40 years to see Lynne in concert and it was worth the wait. Sharing it with my kids made it even better. I've been to dozens and dozens of rock concerts over the years but none compared to Jeff Lynne's ELO at the Little Caesar Arena in Detroit. It was just amazing. Just amazing.

Was an amazing show, even better than I remember from the 1978 show at Silverdome!! Thanks for posting the 5 songs, glad you didn't record the entire show and got to enjoy most of the show through your own eyes :) we were sitting to the right of the stage in the mezzanine, so cool to see some of the songs from the different perspective!! Thank you again!!

Saw them in October in Jeff's original hometown..He is the genius songwriter but is also lucky to have that 12 piece band of experts playing for him, who all have other recording, producing, composing, coaching or other musical lives (eg bass player Lee Pomeroy -Yes ARW, Steve Hackett, solo songwriter Iain Hornal -10cc, Melanie Lewis-MacDonald voice coach, choir leader). Well chosen Mike Stevens! if he's responsible?

@@tetmax 👍Jeff's Zoom tour bombed/was cancelled. Compare the 2- worlds apart. So I can't stress how important this lovely lot are with added layered vocals and extra instruments played with joyous precision!

​@@musicloverUK​, I had tickets purchased for the Zoom show and was so sad that it was cancelled. It was so great that at least Jeff released the Zoom DVD with the pilot concert. I loved it and can imagine how it would be amazing to hear that Zoom program live!

Oh dear, oh well yes at least you got to see something. Having marvelled at this spectacle actually I would now really like to see the Group in a small venue as I HATE big arena gigs for their impersonal feel and the downer you get when you leave. I see 10cc all the time in small venues: Graham Gouldman (songwriting genius since 1965) the 1 original member invariably does signings after, so you get to say hi to the band! Iain Hornal here is now lead singing with them again whilst ELO pauses, his voice is my favourite in Christendom. His band Hornal are amazing live: as well as his solo stuff they knock out Queen, Fleetwood Mac etc with aplomb! His older solo stuff he posted to me as only on CD and wow it includes a Bohemium Rhapsody style 5 minute epic! 1😮 "Music was my first love, and it will be my last, music of the future and music of the past..." 😍

I cannot imagine how the world would be if there was no music. This is the only thing to me that comes right out of space and the people that mediate that energy between us and the space are precious!
