I am a 62 year old ARMY from Canada and discovered BTS right at the beginning of the pandemic, and boy did I take a deep dive. They are seriously what has gotten me through and helped me retain my sanity (somewhat 🤣). Their speeches are always so heartfelt and inspirational. When you said RM is a "wordsmith", that's exactly what makes him (and Yoongi) incredible lyricists. I also laughed when you said "let's make RM President" because that is exactly what ARMY calls him. At the end when they all said "Life Goes On", little did we know they would be releasing a song of the same name not that much later. I am glad that the 7 of them got to quarantine together, because it is clear how much the lack of doing performances can effect each of them. I recently rewatched one of their series (called Break The Silence) and RM talked about how he had to force himself to find things outside of BTS to bring him happiness (hobbies etc) because he was getting to a point where he would go all out for 2 1/2 hours during a concert and the rest of his life started to feel meaningless. Despite all their wealth and success, being away from a live audience is certainly taking a toll on them. Thanks for reacting....I'm enjoying all your BTS content. The best thing about BTS is that they're never thinking about just themselves. When Covid hit they stumbled, almost fell but got right back up because they know millions of people depend on them to help them survive another minute, another hour or week. They thought of us ARMY to make sure we're doing okay too. Other big names complained and whined about being forced to stay at home but BTS took that negative emotion to create an emotional masterpiece album, BE. This relation between them and us can't be put into words but I think you're starting to grasp how special it is.

I totally agree. While they were all upset about losing their ability to do live performances, they sat down to review what they still had....each other, their music and technology and with those things they have still done wonders. I just found BTS right at the time MOTS:7 was released (and just before the first pandemic lockdown) and boy there has still been a ton of content since that time. RM mentioned in his first UN speech that they understand their influence and responsibilities and they always come through to help ARMY when we need it.

I know you said 'eloquent' about RM, and I agree. He does such an impressive job in English, and as I understand it, the way he speaks in Korean is extremely eloquent as well. But another word I would use to describe how he speaks is 'elegant'. I once saw someone describe his rap style as elegant, and I just think it's very true. Even his penmanship (in English & Korean) is elegant. I really, really like this adjective for how he carries & expresses himself. It creates such a commanding impression. Not everyone has a healthy balance of practical & emotional intelligence, but I think RM really does. And I loved this speech because all the members had a chance to share their thoughts. I believe that one of the things that sets them apart as a group is that they are all very open in mind & heart, and yes, all emotionally intelligent. Yeah RM, Mr. President/Prime Minister - whenever he is speaking i find myself doing the salute gesture --- in fact all of them share this wisdom and energy -- RM generally speaks for the group as he is the most fluent in English - its nice to see they all spoke here, speaking in their language they can express themselves well and beautifully and you can see why people gravitate towards them, and you can see and feel all the members' sincerity in their message - i say it again, these guys are world leaders -- you can see they truly understand the responsibility they carry having the platform that they have. A lot of big artist give back and have generous spirits but i have never seen artists do it in the same capacity BTS does it -- and even more impressive, these guys are still in their 20's, JK is only 23--- they really blow my mind - i admire and love them all so much - thanks for reacting to this 👍

During the high incidence of Covid in Seoul, the company took the boys to the province for isolation. They made a healing tv series, "BTS in the Soop". It's good to see them just have some time for playing, painting, cooking etc., all normal activities they can't do because of work.

Imagine living your life as an touring artist for 70% of your year. Always surrounded by people, performing and interacting with fans. Always having adrenaline rush. Having your schedule mapped and packed for 2 years in the future at any given time. Living a lifestyle where you have at best a week of absolute free from schedule time in a year. And that is your natural state for years. And then pandemic starts. Tours canceled, person interactions banned, schedule appointment canceled. No adrenaline rushing through your veins anymore. How hard it must have been to feel that sudden void of everything that was your life. And for BTS pandemic took away enormous part of what was Normal for them.

After watching the speeches it's not difficult to believe that whenever RM comes on the screen many ARMY salute him and call him Mr. president. Also sidenote: yes the boys r incredibly well off but the thing is..... Besides them wearing brand name clothes and buying homes for themselves and their families... I alot of the time forget how wealthy they are because they r soooooooooo humble. I mean Jin teases interviewers about money sometimes but they will honest to God fight over a bag of chips or a coupon for food.

You’ll have to react to “Life goes on” or as I like to call it, The pandemic song. It’s very emotional. One of the hardest parts of the pandemic was having the BTS concert postponed. I was so hyped up to go and then the world stopped. I still have my tickets. May 14th marked 1 year since the concert was supposed to be performed. I hope everything will be rescheduled in 2021, but realistically I think it will be 2022. Maybe, May 14, 2022 I will see our boyz? 💜🇺🇸
