Question - Is there something like absorption of light ? If yes , so how phenomena as reflection and refraction are possible ????????
@donotbebiased6987 Жыл бұрын
Feymanm addressed this question in his lectures...that r available in text under the name of feymann lecture notes
@dhruvbaghel466 Жыл бұрын
The extent of absorption of light is different for different materials. Some are good absorbers why absorbs much of the incident light and reflects less. There are also such materials which are good reflectors.

Sir, I'm from Bangladesh....Sir please explain something about internal forces and if I apply external forces on any object, how can all internal forces create and how do they are being cancelled out....and also deep concepts about the work energy theorem for internal forces so that my basics can be cleared by you....... internal forces are like e e repulsions
@C__YashKumar Жыл бұрын
There are two types of objects that we deal in physics. First one is point mass and another is system of particles. Internal forces are only present in system of particles, not in point masses. System of particles can either be discrete mass system (so many point masses in a system separated by some distance) or continuous mass system (so many point masses formed a rigid body). Internal forces exist between both these systems, it is actually the force of interaction between all these particles. Internal force is the net resultant force of gravitational forces, electrostatic forces, normal reaction and vibrational forces b/w molecules. Internal forces only cancels in the case of continuous mass system because there are infinite point masses and internal forces have randomly every direction in the 3D space, so there must exist a force opposite to the direction of a particular force. Thus internal forces cancel each other in continuous mass system. In the case of discrete mass system internal forces do not cancel each other, that's why in discrete mass system point masses can gain acceleration due to these internal forces, but it cannot move its centre of mass. Work done by internal forces is zero because work done is dot product of force at the point of application and displacement of point of application, but displacement of centre of mass by internal forces is zero on any system of particle either it is discrete mass system or it is continuous system. You can apply work energy theorem on any single particle of discrete mass system, but when you will apply work energy theorem on the whole system you have to take the kinetic energy of centre of mass which is zero. I hope that this will help you to build your basics about internal forces.

Hello sir,In class 10 we study that current is flow of electrons but the direction of electrons is negative to positive and direction of current positive to negative.How can this be possible that the same thing has two different direction?How does this make a bulb glow?why are we still taking the direction conventionally it should have been changed when the scientist found the actual direction Pls explain me
@ankitthakurankit4764 Жыл бұрын
Although this is widely available on net and even you tube itself when electron was discovered we already had discovered alot about electricity(before discovery of electrons) so changing the direction of conventional current means re writing all those papers . All those hundreds of yearsof work that wouldbe really tedious and will make all the old literature wrong since the direction didn't matter much thus we didn't changed it. We just said there are two oneconventional one electric . (Also in electroplating the direction of current is conventional direction)

Hello sir Sir, Why we should take small steps while walking on ice & how we can walk with those small steps please clear my doubt.....!
@dhruvbaghel466 Жыл бұрын
Focus on the normal and tangential components of force applied by you foot on the ice. The big you take step, the more is the tangential force on the ice by your foot. Since friction due to ice is small, it can't cancel put this tangential force and that's why your foot slips.

Sir i had a doubt that why a free body when striked from one end rotates only about its centre of mass .
@dhruvbaghel466 Жыл бұрын
The body naturally rotates about its centre of mass because it can be considered as the most dense location for the body where its all mass is concentrated. Any other particle of this body is less heavy. When you apply force on a free body, the region where we apply force only gets accelerated. The internal forces must gets unbalanced and tries to stop the accelerated part. Since the internal forces are "central forces", it's directed towards the geometrical centre of the body. The whole body then starts rotating except the centre of mass as these internal forces are directing towards this dense location Ofcourse this mechanism is complicated actually but I'm giving a rough idea.

Sir I have a doubt that and it goes like Step 1: take a beaker with water Step 2 place 2 grain of rice in the close proximity and place the grain of rice in water such that they don't sink Step 3 : you will see that those grain of rice attract each other and get attached So why this phenomenon happen ?? Sir if you know that please explain this 🙏🙏🙏🙏
@itachu. Жыл бұрын
I have a theory , you see electrostatic forces are which keeps molecules attracted right? , in free air the rice won't attract as there is no medium.... but due to water , some water molecules charges the rice grain and so , the grain attract each other.... due to being charged....
@harshit4450 Жыл бұрын
electrostatic force ke liye ek ko positively charged aur ek ko negatively charged hona padega ab yeh kaise possible ho sakta hai ab ya to vo dono chawal positively charge honge ya negatively charge honge mereko lagta hai yeh surface tension ka role hai kuch shyad
@dhruvbaghel466 Жыл бұрын
@@harshit4450yupp. Surface tension can be one of the reason or may be the only reason. But there are different things too going on in water like brownian motion. Other thing is water is polar dielectric. That means its molecule have thier own dipole moment. And so can apply electrostatic force on grain of rice. How? Electric field due to water dipole can induce charge over surface of rice grain.

Sir I have a question I'm a student of class 11 My name is Sushil shah kzbin.infoeaEsxzC5Vas?si=lM3Cxrib33aXo02l In this video ashu sir did an experiment on centrifugal and centripetal force. He kept the glass into the box and revolved it but the glass didn't fall because of centrifugal force. Earth is also revolving around sun and it also have some centrifugal force. So my question here is that can we imagine gravitational force as centrifugal force which acts on an object while traveling in circular path . I mean that, is gravity nothing but centrifugal force of the earth. I wish you answer sir 🙏❤.

R1 and R2 are the radii of curvature of convex and concave surfaces of the lens respectively and R1= 2R2 . The refractive index of material of lens is n1. For which combination of n1 and n2 , the whole system behaves like a diverging lens. a)n1=1.2 and n2=1.8 b)n1=1.63 and n2=1.35 c)n1=1.56 and n2=1.33 d)n1=1.7 and n2=1.33 I had tried to search solution of this numerical on Google but I didn't get any appropriate answer So it's my humble request to you, please provide the solution of this numerical in your upcoming video ,😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 Thank you 😊
