I heard of at least 1 mother and her 2 children were saved by them. The mum was carrying her baby and a young girl, she fell from the terrorist's bike when they saw the tank, she took the opportunity to run towards the tank but they didn't see her so she continued to run. She could have saved 3 precious hostage release spots for others or she could have ended up like the bibi family because we know babies cry and the terrorists do not like hostages to talk. But that mum has lost a lot of weight advocating for her son and husband who are hostages. Her 9 year old son suffers from some kind of anxiety issues, hope the terrorists would be tolerant.

Badass and warrior knows no gender. Interesting to learn they figured the best way to help was to learn this battle craft and put their three tanks to use. Reminds me in a bigger way of the female snipers in World War II.

@@Bluegrassriver8 life as an infantrymen is much more than that. It is absurd to think that women can perform on the same physical level than men. This is why u usually dont see women in elite infantry units which demand extrmely high physical standards. But I agree: in positions where technical hardware equalizes the physical abilities, like in this case, they can perform just as good as men.

What an inspiration these women are. Almost children but coming together and fighting, real fighting, as an effective team. I have three adult daughters and have always looked for ways to show them what women are truly capable of doing. This is a a text book example. This shows what could have been along the whole border if the high command hadn't been so arrogant. They under-estimated Hamas just like they under-estimated Egypt in the Yom Kipour war and they ignored the reports of their female observers along the border that sent report after report up the chain of command about the activity on the Gaza side of the border. If the high command had taken the appropriate measures there would now be no need to be in Gaza and Hamas would have died on Israeli soil. There would be no hostages in the hands of Hamas.
