I had no idea low fuel could blow an engine. The computer doesn’t catch the lean condition quickly enough to protect itself? Will that new fuel pump prevent this from happening again?

Do you have any dry sump LT1 parts laying around? I have a L86 I'm swapping in a FRS and would rather have the dry sump stuff for road racing. I know some guys get rid of it and go wet sump
