I'm on Team Supercharged Dark Horse, as well. I totally understand what you said in the intro. I had a '21 C8 before switching to the Dark Horse and it's just the sound, the stick, and handling that made me never miss my 'vette again. Sure, the DH might not be as exotic looking at the C8, but just something about the experience has made me into a Dark Horse nut.

LMMFAO …stop the 🧢. Extensive time in both. I enjoy both…but the C8 is in a different league in terms of ride and handling. Oversteer and entry braking is enough to push me to a C8. Just flat out a different experience

That pulley 3.25 with 20% balancer you should be around 1000 whp but with 6 ribs you go to handle a lot of belt slip bro, when I cross 825 whp mark the boost start to lose consistency specifically at the drag strip and it be reflected on time slip and data logs, good luck and the car looks so good.

I just bought a dark horse with the handling package. I’ve been wanting to know which looks headers did you get. The 3/4, 7/8, or 2 inch headers. Do you run cats? And what’s your tire setup. I appreciate any input as I’m looking to do a lot of those mods to my vehicle. Especially the tires since these trofeo rs tires last under 5k miles.

Diff can hold, rear tires are good for casual driving till about 900whp, we have a separate set for the drag racing

Hey Stangmode. How does it compare to 3.8 Whipple Hulk?

I'm guessing that the Whipple'd Dark Horse launches harder from a dig with that 10R80 auto, but the Hulk GT500 pulls harder up top due to a slightly larger engine displacement (5.2L) and larger supercharger displacement (3.8L). The Whipple'd Dark Horse is most likely the better overall performer since it's lighter than the GT500 and doesn't have that currently untunable DCT.

@@chrism.728 It seems like everyone gave up on cracking the DCT code. Evolution Performance's GT500 has the hardest launching GT500 BY FAR!!!! No other is even close, TILL THIS DAY! That DCT was DEFINITELY UNLOCKED.

Ever thought about putting a chiller in it? I have the FI interchiller in my Hellcat and it's a game changer. My intercooler temps stay between 20 degrees and 37 degrees depending on outside temp. On a 90 degree day, it stays between 30 and 37 always.

It's tunable beyond factory warranty with the gen 6 3.0L whipple. That blower can make 1000 Crank Hp easy. 3.25" pulley is spicy!
