I revisited this review: One could cook spaghetti and meatballs for 4-6 campers using this set. The smaller pot could heat up pork and beans for four. I continue to be impressed by this set: its composition and its construction.

I have and like the Base camp ⛺️ . This looks like a nice addition. The improvements to the spoon and spatula look good. I’m not a big fan of the retention bungee mine still works but is showing some ware. Both sets would complement each other. Thanks for sharing 👍👍

Great set up. I would probably lose the extra bits or just throw them in the drawer to be safe. Only thing missing for me is a way to hang the pan over the open fire.

Perfect for the van camper where space is a premium. I’m envisioning a lot of popcorn being made but may have to place aluminum foil on top of lid to catch the splatter of hot oil from those vent holes

Wow very nice. But yes what a price. But all the good vidoes that 2019 gave them exspecaly you lol. But people bought so many last year they gonna make little bigger and double the price see what happens. Wish them the best but lord I can't afford the other one yet. Lol. But yes that is very nice. O and I finally got me a olite it's there small one but I won it from miss strein gaw I was the only one that entered so kinda cool I still love to have there brighter one or head lamp but even on the sale I didn't have enought. So got me few cheaper ones off Amazon for me a friend and my daughter or who ever fishes with me. But 1 was a reveiw but something happen and my Amazon got froze o can't do reviews anymore. But guess 2020 had to start out bad I'm not gonna have good beging after having a good ending so atlest I did get to do alot reveiws around Christmas so I'm blessed not used to getting free stuff lol. I was at a large shopping center and a Stanley salesman was looking at his display and we started talking ..he told me about this new product that his company was coming out with to replace the Base set ..I told him that I used the base set in my trailer to cook outdoor when my wife want to sleep in the mornings ...long story short he give me a new set of these cook set for free all I had to do is to write a review on their web site ...they were great...I wish they had a carrying bag to keep the pots nice....

Hey buddy how's it going I have a question for you it's actually not about this video but I just remembered watching your three or four parts video on that Coleman peak 1 model on how to rebuild it and get it going. Basically my question is this, I noticed that there's a peak 1 400 and then there's a peak one 400b. The difference seems to be one has that adjustable knob on the opposite side of warrior you turn it on and off to adjust the flame down to really low to adjust it higher hey buddy how's it going I have a question for you it's absolutely not about this video but I just remembered watching your three or four parts video on that Coleman peep one model on how to rebuild it and get it going. Less Stuff More Freedom The 2 lever 400 series offers a bit more controllability of your flame. Both the 400(a) and 400b are great stoves. You can actually simmer on both, but the 2 lever system makes it much, much easier to simmer. The exponent series stoves are really nice as well and had a knob instead of a lever (this did appear on their peak 500). Great little stoves all around.

I honestly think if you have a good deal on another one, then get it. You could always gift the stove you don’t use to a friend or sale it. There’s nothing wrong with owning multiple stoves either! The neoprene pump cups are just fine. Some people report issues with them in very cold weather, but I’m not totally sure, never experienced it myself. I have a couple lanterns with neoprene cups and they’re perfectly fine. You can switch it out to leather if you prefer the leather cup. They sell kits on amazon and there’s a site called oldcolemanparts.com. That guys got a lot of parts, anything you’d probably need. Changing the cup is easy, you just take the retainer clip off, pull the pump out, take off the clip under the neoprene cup with some pliers and put in your leather, oil it... Replace the clip, pump and retainer. Test

If it's induction compatible the base of the pot is going to have steel in it, not aluminum. Neither aluminum or stainless are compatible with induction cooktops.

This set has a thicker bottom to spread the heat more evenly, so it's more heavy and not as suitable to lightweight camping. That's the only real difference.

@@jiujitsu2000 is the handle loose on the pot/pan?.....I have seen alot of videos saying that the handles wiggle....and when I bought mine...the handle had alot of play in it.. did you notice anything to that effect...lol. not that someone is going to wave them around while cooking...
