Stanley Hand Plane Type Study Breakdown - a look at Types 13 & 14 - (1 Patent Date in the bed)

Continuing the series on Stanley hand planes to go over Roger K. Smith’s groundbreaking type study, as spelled out in PTAMPIA Vol. 1
This video goes over types 13 and 14. The most prominent feature of each is 1 patent date in the bed, just behind the frog.
Type 13s will have no raised ring / receiver under the front knob, Type 14 will have it. Also - Type 14s will have “Made in USA” in the bed.
