Right afterwards he reaches into his pockets obviously to dispose of the remote. As for how the other flashlight turned on, I suspect he had another remote from the time he reached into his pockets. A switch. At 12:18 the fingers on his hands move right when the light turns on. Explanation on how a flashlight works here: When the switch is pushed it makes contact between two contact strips, which begin a flow of electricity, powered from the battery. No switch = No light.

Eeeeeeeeh..... I feel as if the house may be rigged.. don't hate me for it.. but.. Obviously when the flashlights flickered on it must have had some receptor built in with a remote.. seeing as how the two "Ghost-Investigators" Had their hands hidden behind them.. the bang in the ball room could have been another dude someplace else as most of these "Houses" that have tour guides set most of the things up.. Jordan going down that stair case opened the door with his wait as Steph, began walking to it.. But eh.. Overall the devices are usually rigged or just wireless with a switch/trigger/remote someplace else.. the whole shadow in front of the Camera is the only thing I really can't explain.. its Possible something disturbed the Camera.. but it may just have had something to do with the activation of the Flash light.. (Don't hate me for this.. please...)

i went on a tour here this summer. on every tour, the tour guide gives 2-3 people dumdums to try to get a paranormal thing to happen. you ask a question, and the dumdums either tilt and lean on hand, or fly out of your hand, or nothing. very cool place! and a few paranormal things did happen! highly recommend buying a tour.
