I'm surprised that you didn't mention making sure to rest the note on the higher string.

Interesting. There are many ways to play 2-string trills. For upper neighbor trills, I slide mmaa, and when starting on the main note I play immaa. For long trills starting on the main note, I use paim, paim, I like that fingering because in keeps p and i on the lower string, with a and m on the higher string. Sometimes I play iimmaa followed by a slur on the lower string to execute a turn.

Hello Mr. Yates, I understand that you have been playing guitars made by Zebulon Turrentine in the States. I am curious why you chose his instruments as opposed to another luthier? Very interested in your answer.

Can someone please provide some note and left hand finger combinations to practice. Or maybe point me out to a piece that makes use of this. I have heard this before but have never played it. I think they use it in the Granados Danza Oriental no 2 towards the beginning but I'm not sure if that's exactly the effect I'm hearing. Thanks
