Basically Jim thinks that there's someone in his house, but there isn't and it's just himself making him think that. He gets more and more scared as the game progresses, the messages he's getting sent make him even more scared, not helping at all, the person messaging him must be someone close but it is not yet confirmed, the messages make the situation worse rather than help. And so the final night comes, he was supposed to be silent as represented by the message he received, so the messenger must've knew it was nearby, but the tv came on and started making noise, Jim didn't want to be killed by whatever it was that was banging on the door so he chose suicide as an escape: (Represented by himself pointing the gun at the camera Aka his head), the achievement you get after you beat the game clarifies this. *I'm pretty sure someone gonna be like: "I ain't readin alldat. '💀'"*

Yeah, that was the whole point of the closet section of the game, the Devs wanted you to think that something was inside them, and that's what Jim felt whenever he checked the closets, it's pretty terrifying if you ask me. *(I don't want to sound rude I'm just saying)*

Try playing residence massacre, it’s a night survival game where, similarly like Jim’s computer, the houses have a classic Roblox style, and a chemical spill created a monster (Jim’s computer may or may not have a monster) that wants to “hug” you. It becomes very stressful at times managing many things, and getting game overs are likely to happen.

For thoose who dont know what happened and what lore is: We start day with news, in news saying that Mayor has opened Chemical Refinery, and because of problem happened on refinery all toxic gas have spread in Robloxia, and because of that gas Jim have hallucination, all what he sees after day 1 is almost All not real, the message from unknown person is not real, the door scratching is not real, the opened door is too not real (that the reason why its closed by itself), and that the reason why on day 5 sky is most likely red and not normal blue, the news is not real (no ofcourse the first news are real, but the news where "people dissapearing" its not real), on day 5 (at night), the door/window knocks are not real, but because of toxic gas Jim thinks that its all real, and that the reason why we didnt see anyone in window when someone was knocking at door (at window too), and because of fearing unknown Jim decided to not know what behind that door and took his own life. You: but what about emergency alert at day 5? Is it too not real?. Me: it is real, like i said because of "problems" on refinery Mayor sends millitary to remove that problem (i dont know what problem it is, maybe something blew up, or break down on refinery), so no, the alert is real. You: but what about on day 1 Jim checking closet? The toxic gas didnt spread on day 1?. Me: i cant answer that question normal because we dont know why he checking it, but maybe just because he little scared and thinking that someone in his house (he think that not because of gas, just because of fear). You: you said that "people dissapearing in town" is fake news? How it can be fake?. Me: like i said its because of gas, after problems happened on refinery we see the news, on news was saying that people dissapearing, Jim could easily create it in his mind because he was scared, and think that its true, but its not, he just imagined it, well ofcourse we can create theory that ALL people in that town too was taking their own lifes because they was scared, but its sound bad.

the lore i made up after watching it (someone already did it but WHO CARES IM A SILLY LITTLE GOOBER) so jim is just your typical guy buying things to make life less miserable and then comes the INCIDENT of people vanishing from this ozone layer and the mysterious man behind it all. im going to take a wild guess and say that the man behind all of this INCIDENT is a serial killer that escaped from prison and have been going around kidnapping people for fun info about jim:jim is a happy man that has the perfect house and even buyed himself a computer. but 5 day after jim's buyed a computer the police found him dead on the ground with a M1911 on his hand. the police has finally found evidence of the UNKNOWN man behind the case but a day later the police was dissapointed to find out jim commited [REDACTED] and when the police searched outside the house they found scratch mark on the house door and the house was later selled to a women and the cycle begins....
