We lived on water Street. I believe it was number 41. Across from the river. Used to watch The bauxite boat go by.

Our neighbors were the Monroe's, the Alexander's and the Melville's. The Chinese guy who had a business and lots of piles of sand outside his house lived up the road. I believe the state house in New Amsterdam was where the British soldiers used to live.

I was watching your Stanleytown backroad video because I knew it would take you to Islington Village where I stayed the last time i was in Guyana 2006** My Mom was from that Village but I was not able to see the house because of the camera angle **I thank you for video of the backroads of East Bank Berbice as it is a part of the area rarely ever showcased**

Denny good Afternoon, how are u guys? Memories don't leave like people do. I enjoyed every moment of this video and this caused me to think more. Don't know if l am right but l think Alwin is a Fields. I do know his false name but would not mention it here, if he is the same person l know, he is a very pleasant person.
