I actually think Atrioc might have been right. I don’t play a ton of connections, but usually with the red herrings, the red herrings can’t be equally valid answers for the same category that is the actual category. Like sure you can have 6 league champs on the puzzle, but the actual category should be something more specific that could ONLY apply to those 4 league champs. I’ve got DC on the brain right now so I’ll use that: Say you had Batman, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, and Starfire on the board, the category can’t be “Members of the Justice League” because [Batman, Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman] is just as valid as [Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Batman] and therefore as a category it would be unfair because it’s just up to luck if you choose the correct combination. The category COULD be “non-human DC heroes” because the ONLY valid answer is [Superman, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Starfire] TL;DR: A red herring shouldn’t be a valid answer for the correct category, it should mislead you into thinking there’s a category that doesn’t exist.
