The 90s were OK up until around the middle of the decade. Basically around the time the Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys and others of their ilk came along and saturated the music industry with soulless, manufactured tosh that all but killed off real music. The 80s was and will always remain the best decade ever though.

I was a big fan of The Raccoons as a kid and I loved Lougheed's singing. She reminds me of Desiree Goyette who sang in the 80s and 90s Garfield specials and on some Peanuts specials. It's a shame she disappeared from the music scene over 20 years ago, she really had talent and potential. I still love to the watch The Raccoons, there were some surprisingly adult themes for a cartoon.

Yep this show dealt with real shit, The following issues: - Adoption (Cedric suspecting he was adopted, Cyril confirming he HIMSELF was) - Marital Jealousy (When Ralph damn near killed himself in that plane race against Melissa's ex, Troy) Addiction/Scams (Bert blowing all his money on potato chips to win a bike, He exhibits standard addict behaviour) - Bullying (Cedric being harassed by Bonneville and later Bentley getting bullied by two guys from his school), - Peer Pressure (Bert hanging out with the Bix Badger Bike Club, Lisa taking up smoking to impress her friend Donna) - Pollution (Where Milton Midas paid the Pigs to dump his toxic waste), - Crime (One of the pigs stealing a comic book from a local store) - Mild Megalomania (Ralph winning that journalist award and getting a big head, which alienated Bert, Melissa and Schaeffer) - Readjustment/Feelings of Isolation/Unemployment (Lisa, Bentley and their folks in "Moving in!") That's only a handful of them!

My first introduction to this song was when Steve Lundt was singing this & ever time the raccoons went off the air & this song was played they he didn't sing the full lyrics. I didn't hear the actual lyrics until the replaced Steve with Lisa but when I heard Lisa sing her version of Run With Us I loved it immediately. I love The Raccoons we always watched it at night on HBO this is a song you don't mind getting stuck in your head.

I came here because i was reading something on facebook about old cartoons & The Raccoons was mentioned along with the ending theme song. I couldnt remember what it went like so found it and as soon as it started i was like omg i aint heard this is 30 years n i still knew all the words 😁
