Found Some Newell/NASCAR History Hidden in My '96 Newell Coach! (Formerly Owned by Robby Gordon)

I was doing some cleaning out in my Newell and stumbled across a drawer in the closet I had never gone through before. This isn't super groundbreaking or anything but I thought it was cool and you guys might think so too. Plus a little piece of NASCAR Winston Cup history left behind during this Newells past life with Robby Gordon!

You should get ahold of Matt Caricker from Demolition Ranch about his merch company Bunker Branding. He could do all of your shirts and stuff. He makes them, stocks them and ships them. You don't gotta worry about anything. He made the business specifically to help KZbinrs.

Good morning Mitchell! Thank you for the videos! Some quick info. I was originally turned on to you through Andrew Steele's channel. I can say I have rarely missed a video since. While my interest is primarily in the Newell, truth be told, I have fallen in love with the Escalde also!! I have posted before, and I think it's important for you to know that we care about the time and energy spent to get these videos out. Don't ever be afraid of being "you"! While this video might not be everyone's favorite,, I for one enjoyed it immensely!!! Multiple thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍🤟 Thank's again, and have a wonderful Christmas!!! 🎅

Great little tidbit of info Mitchell. I remember when you did the walk through and also the pulling up the floor access wondering if you ever looked in those drawers. Lol How cool to have a connection to the RG days. That piece of triple carbon paper is just a day in the life, simple, but so cool. Now it's just a day in your life. Thanks for sharing. Most people forget that celebrities are still just people, doing people things like everyone else, except sometimes way cooler than anyone else. Lol

Great video and brought back a lot of memories. I love finding original documents, manuals, records, etc. Absolutely the best. You mentioned collecting car brochures when you were young. Some of my absolute best and fondest memories when I was young, are of me and my dad going to American car dealers every fall when the new models came out. We were both car and truck fanatics. I collected all of the brochures and kept them in a huge trunk. We'd also go and look at RVs and I'd collect those brochures as well. We're talking early 70's to 80's. I would pour over those brochures over and over. You would have thought it was porn but to me it was better than that. Thanks for sharing!

I used to go to a lot of nascar races back in the day and we would get pit passes if there was an arca race u could go into the trailer and put down any race team and get pit passes for Friday and Saturday and then thanks to a lot of people volunteering at the tracks if u just walked in a group of people you could slide into the pits on Sunday cause they weren’t checking much at all ,but that form u had would have been for Busch or cup passes and those had to be filled out for you and u had to show id to get your pass ,for people that did that stuff that was cool what u found, brought back some cool memories for me for sure

Yes plus 50HP in cruise. With the Maxi Brake set you should be able to touch cruise for high idle unless they provide a separate switch. And with the Jake on it will even rip coming off high idle! When you fix the Jake you will seldom need the brake pedal. Think about the NASCAR Events that happened in 2001, was your bus in the infield at Daytona? Probably!

Awesome video man, I love finding old stuff hidden in random places & enjoyed this for sure. a couple years ago I was doing a big project job on a shopping complex & found hundreds of old Black & white prints of sprint cars (dirt circle track) from the 1980's & earlier, I still have them & treasure them so much. they were found in a roof space 10 meters above floor level, I would love to know the history of how they got there & why was it me who found them nearly 40 years later... Finding old things like is always cool. One day u get a little time, u might have to pull out the drawers all the way and see what fell behind the drawers. Just on the hoodie thing would u ever think about a zip up hoodies, with a small decals on the front and a big decals on the back. Just wandering. And do the tee shirts the same way. Cause everyone see the back of the tee-shirt first when people are walking around a car show and car events. A lot people put decals on the front and then nothing on the back and losing their marketing tool.
