Been watching you guys for a long time, love the channel and what you do. What I really dig is how cool of a couple you 2 are. She's awesome and down for the race stuff and I can tell you're good to her as well. Sarcasm and staying "cool" with each other is awesome like this when 2 people are just on the same page. I see a ton of my relationship with my girl when I watch you guys. Unfortunately she passed away WAY too soon some years back and we didn't get a chance to live out the goals we had. It's just life and it's been a long time. It's just great to see how cool you are together and compliment each other. Not complete each other, I hate when people say that, it's all about complimenting each other to me. Just being on the same page about almost everything. Not in the literal way, like giving each other compliments, but just like certain colors or styles compliment one another. That's what it's all about. Is this a cheesy post that's entirely too long? Well derrrrrr, of course it's cheesy as f**k and WAY too long (twss*). Sometimes cheesy isn't bad. You both rock, I've been with the channel for a long time, mostly on my t.v. so I don't get to post a lot. I was subbed on my old phone but didn't realize I wasn't subbed on my new phone. @@Stapleton42 Thanks, I appreciate ya. I'd love to see you guys pull off a win! Finishing in itself is a win but I know you have the determination and skill to get it right. If not this year, then next. I'm trying to find a way to be a part of it next year. As well as any race week(s) or events this year. I'd even be honored to run at "The People's track"!!! LOL. But only with a car I want and can afford. Covid slammed on the brakes and wiped me out. Quite literally. I settled for a slightly modded 93' C4, that ended up being a fiasco..So I lost my ass right after I lost my job. Huge mistake.I got what I could, for it when I could. I'm too old for that shit That was going to be the car for events, but I shouldn't have"settled" for it in a rush.3 months and it was apparent that I f**led up. And of course the issues weren't inexpensive...lol... The majority of my "reserve" $ is gone and I really want to take my Dad to as many of these events while I can. He has Parkinson's and onset demetia so he won't be "all here" in a couple of years to be able to enjoy it. That's the main reason I've not been rushed to get back to work, after Covid cost me my job. I want to hang with my Dad as much as possible while he's still not terribly affected. But his decline isn't super slow, we're trying with the right docs though. We'd both love the drives but I'd like the race portions more than him. It would be amazing to do together. Sorry so long again, but maybe you know someone? I've found a few locally that I love but too much $$$ for me after the "C4iasco".... I'm just looking for like a 2012, or any year 300SRT8, with the factory 6.4...In a perfect world, some kind of boost would be ideal. Getting the car is going to be a struggle in itself right now and my only focus. Stock is fine. Budget wise, living expenses have to come first to be able to have as much time with my Dad as possible. Anyway, long story longer again, (sorry about that) I don't want anything crazy. Just simple with good factory HP to start with. Would I love a cam, some great heads, and a nice tune? F**k yeah I would. But a procharger and/or some bolt ons to get to the low to mid 500hp range from the stock 475hp would be perfect. Another 25-75hp so I'd not be completely embarrassed...lol.. I've only bracket and grudge raced back in the early 2000s in an AMX and a 79 Cutlass, but I was pretty good at it. Oh well, I just wanted to tell ya a little of my story and letya know I'm pulling for you guys!!! Again, I apologize for the long message. Have fun, you two!!! Much love from Cincinnati, Ohio.

You need a fold-up or portable dolly so you can stack your boxes on the dolly to transport them to and from your room to the Yukon, or you do have one and I didn't see it. Once again, Logan is a keeper......

I don't have any personal reason to be attached to Uncle Rob, but I can totally feel it when you say it is worth more to you than an R8. And frankly, he's far more interesting anyways.. Not a lot of people putting love into these old Suburbans/Yukons. Uncle Rob has way more character than the R8, and that to me makes him an easy winner all day.

Your best friend is a China-clone Tech 2... can get them for fairly cheap and be able to read all codes and do security programming as well. When you have electrical shit pop up, being able to test relays and what not with the Tech 2 is super handy. I have a few GM vehicles and Saabs and it has saved me a ton of money over the years.

My mom grew up in Western Kansas (quite a bit north of where you folks were driving) and it's all like those small towns. Used to be all the support industries for farming, but as farms have gotten bigger and bigger, and there's more mobility, less need for each town to have all those industries. Lots of old and empty buildings. Lot a history.

I can relate very much to this video from south Texas traveling up to north dakota last year had over heating problems in my uncles 08 lmm duramax we were about 50 miles from garden city, with water pump leaking 😀 we'd have to stop let her cool and keep on trucking eventually we did make it to garden city ended up staying that hotel next to Applebee's, in the morning we packed up and left the parking lot with a "yuge" puddle of coolant left behind we hit up the autozone next to harbor freight and changed the water pump in the parking lot it was bi***. I noticed alot of the scenery from this video where we traveled through
