Star Atlas is currently in development and will be released iteratively through game modules in both Unreal Engine 5 and browser-based formats, enabling the game to expand continuously while players immerse themselves in the Star Atlas gaming and co-creation experience. The first of the Unreal Engine 5 game modules is the pre-alpha Star Atlas Showroom.
How to enter the Showroom? Take the following steps:
1. Head to Play.StarAtlas.com
2. Click on the tile link that takes you to the Epic Games Launcher. Download Showroom and open it.
3. Once you reach the Showroom landing page, you’ll need to connect a wallet (instructions here: / mnk23ak2mvb .
4. Go to your player profile page.
5. If you qualify for access, you’ll see your game key listed on your profile page. If not, there are ways anyone can earn admittance with a small amount of effort (More at / mnk23ak2mvb .
6. Redeem your game key on the Epic Games Store: store.epicgames.com/en-US/redeem

Crypto ecosystem is collapsing, these guys continue to get screwed over by folks like Sam-Bankman Fried and their money disappears overnight, Crypto/NFT exchanges are all in the red and yet the Star Atlas cult will vehemently defend their "investment". It goes to show you that in 2022 people have lost the ability to think for themselves, no sympathy for them when their life savings are gone, money is earned from hard work not from investing in a clear-cut ponzi scheme.

Freakin Sweet. Speaking plainly... Star Atlas has a huge advantage over Star Citizen. It can build fresh and worry about rebuilding from old engrained mistakes SC has made. It's built with UE5, which will decrease the time build the game significantly. I'm super excited for it. Just dont offer too much game and get stuck permanently managing buggy game servers while trying to build the game. I actually love SC, but its going to get passed up by you pretty quick with its engine and development process.

Guys be careful on how you abord audio design, remember that there's no sound in space, sound needs an elastic medium to be transmitted (like air or water). Having that kind of realistic details on point will take the game experience to a whole new level.

I think the game directors feeling is that even though there isn't sound in space, it makes for better gameplay to have it in. Almost all space games have come to the same conclusion for the same reasons. Fun beats realism. Rule of cool

@@MagicPuncherGames not necessarily, check Interstellar movie, sound can be implemented in a smart and creative way when in space (like the sounds inside the helmet and body movements, sound of your own breathing, intercoms, among others. Also imagine the 1st person experience when entering the stratosphere and suddenly hearing everything around you, and when leaving a planet suddenly all gets quiet, that would be amazing imo.

That's like complaining that COD ripped off Battlefield because they use the same FPS controls, when every FPS in the last 20 years has used the same controls. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And it's a lot easier on the players if you give them controls they are already familiar with.

@@superp8380 well technically SC´s Kickstarter started before elite and you should know that neither elite dangerous nor SC´s are the first installments. first elite game was released 20 September 1984. Wingcomander ( predecessor to SC) was released 27. September 1990. NFT and gaming will never go well together, The atlas token has fallen from €0.20 to €0.002779
