My main issue with the Perseus was angles of defense against fighters and missiles. The addition of PDCs makes that ship waaaay more appealing. I still wish the Galaxy mounted the side guns on the top to either side like an imperial corvette, though... I have never enjoyed using side-mounted turrets and the ship often moves in awkward ways, throwing my shots off.

Have they not tested CIWS on the connie too? Also wpuld be lovely to equip them like in Elite Dangerous. Would be a decision whether I want something else on a mod slot or a PDS :D

I believe only the Constellation Phoenix gets a PDC, I'm not quite sure for the rest

The problem with the Phoenix is they said they are going to reduce your total power by two blocks to power the PDC. One little turret shouldn't cost that much power.

I feel that explorer ships are just a term for general type ships which can do abit of everything. Instead of the real “explorer” we would think it is.
