Ships and items got wiped with 3.18.2. And a lot haven’t played 3.18.1 because of the patch state and announced wipe. So they still full wiped from3.18.1

@@joronasc yes, they wiped between 3.18 and 3.18.1. but as far as I am concerned in 3.18.2, I have now 4 ships instead of only the one I bought with my pledge.

Arrow is the best light fighter. Also a highly skilled pilot can equip ballistics to shred another light fighter in under a minute.

I agree. For me its currently the most flown light fighter, for a reason. I often do PVP while i am grinding money. I am grinding PVE contracts (with the Arrow) and always have a PVP contract active. I switch to the pvp contract when i noticed the target is getting active. The Arrow is just one of the best ships to do so - but i still count on laser repeater (because of the pve part mostly )

Hey Jorona what are your loadout for Arrow and Harbringer ?

Because ballistics have low ammo, and cannons low weapon velocity, you always want to put laser repeaters on your fighters. You can see Jorona has a size 4 gimballed laser repeater on the nose of the Vanguard, because the size 5's have lower weapon velocity. They have also locked the gimbal on the nose, because auto gimbal slew will not match your fixed weapon aim. In addition to equipping laser repeaters, the only other thing you need is to upgrade your shields to class A. And if your going to be travelling across Stanton, and "Atlas" quantum drive on your arrow for efficiency, and an "XL-1" on your Vanguard for speed.

For me, I didn't like the Scorpius. It was too fragile, but not agile enough to be a consistent shot dodger like the Arrow or Gladius.

So Im very new to star citizen (only a couple of days in). I bought the Aurora starter package back in 2017 IIRC, but just now started playing. Im debating just upgrading my ship to something else but just trying to get an idea of the cost on these, the only one I can actually buy was the Arrow, all the others said 'flight right' but I have no idea what that means. I think all and all what im looking for is maybe a recommendation for a little better starter ship. I enjoy bounties (im not very good, but have fun). I keep seeing videos where people are saying the Cutter is a better starter ship and then some say the titan is the 'best'. Im in a rabbit hole. I still havent figured out how to mack actual money in game yet. I keep breaking even.

I am pretty new too. Started with the Mustang Alpha. Got the Titan Avenger, Cutty Black. I some times use the curry black, but I use the Avenger way more. I have talked to a bunch of other people. The Avenger is a great starter ship that remains useful for a long time.

I thought it was a bright idea to pledge a ROC too for mining, but traded it back in for store credit. I now have 65 or so in credit and I have no idea what to spend it on.. Maybe a Titan or just hold on to it and put towards something else.

Sorry that i answer so late. But if you like Bounty Hunting - ship recommandation is for sure Arrow, Gladius. These ships work pretty good for Bounty Hunting and also for PVP

This is going to moot soon when the atmospheric flight model is updated. Perhaps land vehicle battles will become easier and our spaceships will be more like VTOL aircraft in atmosphere instead of helicopters.

@@joronasc don't know about you, but as of this patch, I cannot leave the seat once entering it - exit key does not work, nor there is a way to find the manual exit option in the cockpit. Literally the only way is to eject which was confirmed by other players too. Have you tested it this patch?

@@sixtheninth I don’t have this issue on 3.18.2 Live… I use a female character though, that seems to help the issue. If I get stuck in any ship’s seat, press U than R than I and press and hold Y. Does the trick for me. You could even forgo the I (i), should work too. Cheers o7
