Well, after 2 years baking for this ship that I really want to love I am still waiting for its gameplay to be implemented. Sometimes it's on the roadmap but it has always been pushed away, my hope has faded. Give me some love CIG, bring us the Reclaimer Gameplay.

@@convenienceplays at least it is flyable and you can explore the interior. I was honestly expecting it to feel smaller inside but pleasant surprise, feels like a proper industrial ship. Imma go back into hibernation for another 6 years (I bought it in 2015. Lost hope in 2016 and just came back for a look.)

The style in the beginning of Landfall, including the green cmd prompt text and massive drifting ships, was inspired by the film Alien from Ridley Scott; look up "LV-426 Landing". Not to mention the entire Reclaimer is a giant homage to the USCSS Nostromo, right down to the galley table. Landfall might have been the father, but Alien was their granddaddy.

This commercial is definitely missing many of the features of the Reclaimer. From humping the ground at outposts, to elevators that do not require any thrusters to transport occupants into orbit, and to a turret that is engineered to blast away at the claw. Many features left out of this video.

Ok first 25secs awesome.. def Squad 42.. ship is great and if... if the ship mechanics actually worked the ship will be good. My view on this video is that its an advert designed to sell the ship again now that it is on sale again. Its does nothing but haul cargo at the moment and be big (if you love that great) however i would like to have seen more things working. Drones, tractor beams, how does the salvage get ground up and stored? An animation of the claw actually showing how it works properly. Also the textures on his clothes for me felt flat. Honestly this although being good i feel needs another dial up. The scale & cities and ships are stunning no question. Some of the walking looked odd on the males as another note. I do like the Reclaimer its landing mechanics are a wonder... Its actual gameplay mechanics. 3.2 is the patch with its gameplay lets see if it works as intend or is just another large new ship to gooo wooow. Just my view on this advert...still gets a thumbs up coz of that first 25secs.. stunning

Unfortunately, it seems that Star Citizen’s new ships almost never get that commercial style anymore, kinda removes the realism and depth of the universe. One of my reasons for ever looking into SC is the realistic feeling it gave, the ship commercials, the little talk shows, etc.
