they already are like the avenger. Alot of why theyre increasing in size is collision issues with small cramped ships and the player clipping out of them

I have absolutely no desire to sound disparaging, but after getting all hyped up when I saw the Carrack and BMM on the development schedule last year, and then seeing how they both were AGAIN placed on the back-burner, I am slightly jaded with CIG and Star Citizen. Though I've been a backer and a subscriber (as well as a Concierge member), I'm taking a step-back from the game until CIG stops focusing on combat/ piracy and burns some energy on exploration and trade.

John Calvin Hall to do what with? None of the mechanics that will support those ships exist ingame yet. The carrack is a deep space explorer, with a lack of other systems to explore, kinda pointless... in the same way, the merchantman is essentially a floating marketplace. Need object container streaming to even attempt that, and trade mechanics don't really work at present. Ship would be kinda useless at present if it exsisted

Mechanics have nothing to do with it.. Several ships have been added before the main mechanic was. Besides the Carrack has 1k SCU so it could be used for cargo. I’m tired of new concepts hitting live while we have been waiting half a decade for ships already paid for.

Unless you want to hunt several baddies in one run for 8-fold earnings, and do "hunt team" missions. But the stealth titan does have an appeal aswell. They did originally say anything in an Avenger could be removed and replaced tho..

They won't just be for transporting the criminals you hunt, you will also be able to transport criminals from place to place for others. For example you could ship prisoners from a prison planet to a prison station, or suchlike. Or from a world that doesn't have prisons to a prison planet.

Im just hoping they at least up engine size, shield size, weapons and armor values, because ask any avenger pilot and they’ll tell you the only thing keeping them alive is the agility and small cross section. Increasing the size increases cross section and likely limits agility/maneuverability... im really keeping my fingers crossed that they dont eff up my favorite ship in game. Was bad enough when they nerfed its speed (subsequently removing any aspect of “interceptor” from it)
