The Vulcan is actually a pretty good ship to introduce into the game. It fills a niche that was missing. I really love the Alien-style interior.

Please do concept sales like this, with an ATV before them outlining the work done to the ship. Was awesome to see the concepted interiors and hear more about it's role.

Concept of thrusters over heating in atmo or gravity is such an important aspect and mechanic of the game, I hope its implemented , it seems too unnature for a space ship to just fly in gravity and atmo without adverse effects to the ships health. Vulcan for me would resemble to be a Road service truck of today.. that will be fun game play , and I'm sure a profitable one. great show guys, thx.

shields....and these ships are built of materials much more durable then the ones we currently have, by a large margin. Also the power plants will easily hold them aloft, even with maneuvering thrusters.

im glad the Carrack is kinda on the further end of ships being made because it means it is built with all the new tech in mind from the start and doesnt need to be retroactively updated like some of the other ships will need to be.

Check 1:40 by Jaered's head, shows the Carrack is in modeling phase, wooohoooo, haha. Orion and Merchantman are in the transition from white to gray also.

It looks much more like an Anvil ship, especially with the boxy cockpit and retracting armor plates. Surprised no Freelancer variant capable of this exists.

It would appear that Aegis has an industrial aesthetic too: see the Reclaimer. I've long argued that it stuck out, so it's kind of nice to see the Vulcan fleshing out that side.

Fixt100 my guess would be size because the pieces are much smaller in the drone and too small for the claws like using a wrench to fix a phone when you need tweezers

Idea: When changing the drone to refuelling a transparent pipe attach's and fuel can be seen flowing through it into the drone. Same idea for rearming, perhaps taking SCU or ammo from storage in the cargo to hands then placing in a designated square which conveyors into the drone bay and the drone itself. Possibly the same with standard repair materials if anyone remembers the old Design Notes on Ship Repair, e.g. SCU of Si, Ca, Ti etc

Terrapin, so those engines at the front, firing their exhaust strait at the rear engines... seems like a sure way to get no forward movement and turning the rear engines in to slag.

The light-switch thing may seem minor, but it's such a neat thing to have, especially in a dark area when entering ships like the retaliator... you're blind as a bat in it until you go to the pilot seat and turn on the power lol. Also, they SHOULD make a seat-adjustment system (like you'd adjust your seat in a car)

So, technically, it will be carrying a wide selection of offensive ordinance but only for mounting on other ships. Also, to harass a small fleet, all you need is one Eclipse and one Vulcan hidden nearby to keep it armed.

Could we get an Anvil version of the Vulcan? I prefer the Anvil style even if this looks pretty okay as well. Just don't forget other ship creators aside of Anvil and Aegis, I'd really like to see more ARGO Astronautics ships.
