Great video, really appreciate the time you took to do this comparison. I'm not much of a fighter, but I like to dabble in it from time to time. Previous patch I got a Gladius, but you've wetted my appetite to give the Arrow a try this time.

I also heard the arrow has gimbles whereas the gladius is fixed hard points. That's a huge thing to take into consideration

Yeah the turret under the nose gives two of the weapons gimbaling for free. In last patch when I had arrow I was fully gimbaled but this patch I'm trying to get used to fully fixed for the extra damage.

I've been flying the Arrow for 5 years. It's a hell of a ship, agile and fast like a snake. What it lacks in defenses, compensates with the agility. Plus it's compact, it can fit in small spaces. Used to run many types of missions with it and it can take you from place to place in an instant, plus fuel refilling is dirt cheap compared to bigger ships. You can run bunker missions like crazy as landing and lifting is done in a breeze and you can avoid turret fire without breaking a sweat.

Nice video bro, good comparison's, I'm an Arrow fan tbf I haven't flown the Gladius or tried it in combat, but because I love the Arrow, I see no point in trying another ship that is almost identical. Keep up the good work o7. Oh I also replaced the shield for a Palisade or FR66 the powerplant for for a JS-300 I put 2x MSD-221 with Taskforce 1's and 2x MSD-341 with Taskforce1's giving me 12 missiles on the remote turret I put NN-13 laser cannons and on the wings NDB-30 Laser Repeaters. And an Atlas QT.

Thanks for the nice comment, I really appreciate it o7. Yeah the two are really similar, no point in getting them both really. I tend to alternate between the different wipes.

I kinda feel the same way as you. Gladius technically is better, but I just get hit less in the arrow and seem to kill faster.

I think I prefer arrow for PVE and Gladius for PVP now. But Arrow is still my favourite overall :)

@@CitizenFrost okay so the back wings look like the Hilt/ Guard mainly. While the the tip looks like a Mainz style of gladius with a sharp point. (If it was longer then 100% more noticeable).

hmmm the grumpy eye guy said the arrow had a burst DPS of 1672. Wonder what the difference between builds is. Thanks for the video! Nobody else has done a comparison for this patch.

Just had a look, it's because he has the two size 3 weapons fixed, I had gimbled them to size 2's.
