If you park your ship just outside the armistice zone of the station, which is marked by the circle of lights surrounding the station, you can access the station's local inventory. Just move your ship right up to the lights, but don't cross it. You will be able to transfer all items to the station's local inventory from there, and eject the bodies into space.

Yes, but this no longer works in 3.24 PTU where you can access a location inventory only via the terminals and kiosks after you land.

Thanks for showing the nuances. I just can't help but feel all these extra steps which are tedious, many times buggy and are a huge time sync away from actual game play are soooooo unnecessary. Combine all these ridiculous steps so someone at CIG can say "Physicalized Inventory" with how players actually manage inventory which many games have sorted out over 20 years ago and I get so frustrated it actually removes my immersion. No stack all, no multi-selection, items with sub-inventory not stacking even if there is nothing in them. It all just feels so aged and so poorly designed that it makes me not just question if the developers play their own game, it makes me question if they have played any game with massive items and inventory interfaces.

Do the loot boxes function as normal containers when you take them? It sounds like that's what you're saying. You can store your own items in them after you've taken them, and your items persist? One thing I try to do is organize the equivalent of a grab-bag, bugout-bag, or equipment kit. Basically, a very easy way to grab everything I need in terms of FPS gear. These boxes might be perfect for that, put a full set of armor plus choice of weapons and equipment, grab the box and go. The 1SCU box is too big, and the 1/10 SCU box is too small.

Buy one at any cargo center. As example: Port Tresler just use the elevator you would to go to the galary but go to the cargo center.

Is it just for me, or does the SCU box bug out for your guys as well. It is very frustrating -.- They suddenly wont open anymore.

When this happens, you can sometimes "reset" it to start working again by alternating between the menu options to loot vs open.

I am having trouble seeing my 8SCU crates at Seraphim Station when going to sell at the Cargo Center, let me know if anyone was successful. Going to try to put the 8SCU on my ship and sell from there. It might be bugged since I did it a while back.

I had not tested the 8 scu box. mostly I use 2-4 scu boxes because they are more manageable 🤞

the lotting tricks in 3.24 onwards do not work, there is no more “inventoried local magic space”, everything is physicalized.
