Thanks for showing the nuances. I just can't help but feel all these extra steps which are tedious, many times buggy and are a huge time sync away from actual game play are soooooo unnecessary. Combine all these ridiculous steps so someone at CIG can say "Physicalized Inventory" with how players actually manage inventory which many games have sorted out over 20 years ago and I get so frustrated it actually removes my immersion. No stack all, no multi-selection, items with sub-inventory not stacking even if there is nothing in them. It all just feels so aged and so poorly designed that it makes me not just question if the developers play their own game, it makes me question if they have played any game with massive items and inventory interfaces.

Yes, it's all quite awkward. In which direction it should go you see with the 3.24, there is another change in terms of inventory 💪

Holy guacamole batman, I have one of these chairs and I knew you could lock the back rest tilt but I didn't realize you could set it to different positions in that arc. A great chair even if you don't know how to use it properly!

unless price from scraped items change, salvaged items are only worth the mobey you dont need to buy them. Wich for many items is quite a lot. But since you need a lot of time and luck to find components compactible with your ship, you are most likely using that time better to earn money to buy the specific items you want. Also as a money making game loop, salvaged items need to be much better valued. i think 50% of actual value would be good, but only being able to sell after repaired, so you need your salvage tool, and maybe in the future also subcomponents to repair them. Computer, fuses, laser lens, etc. thibgs you can buy or fabricate with a blueprint.

Do the loot boxes function as normal containers when you take them? It sounds like that's what you're saying. You can store your own items in them after you've taken them, and your items persist? One thing I try to do is organize the equivalent of a grab-bag, bugout-bag, or equipment kit. Basically, a very easy way to grab everything I need in terms of FPS gear. These boxes might be perfect for that, put a full set of armor plus choice of weapons and equipment, grab the box and go. The 1SCU box is too big, and the 1/10 SCU box is too small.

Me neither, do ship have to be stored? I don't see them in sell tab when I select ship in terminal. Is there any illegal location to try? Or can I somehow transfer it to local inventory?

Have you transferred the items to the local inventory or in the ship? are you at a sales location that also offers the components for sale?

@@MrKarolinger yes we was on sale location where you can buy same weapons but we managed to sell only one if 5 weapons. Weapons were in ship on cargo grid. It's not possible to transfer them to local inventory.. can't drag-drop them there.

I've always found the idea of recycling components from destroyed ships fascinating, especially since it helps save some of the money spent on upgrades. Even though it wasn't very convenient in patch 3.23 and didn't work for all ships, I'm really hoping that patch 3.24 makes it a lot easier and more efficient.

I'd been thinking that it'd be worth bringing along a Vulture to bunkers in 3.24. Maybe park a Nursa in a C2 and do bunkers in a group. Salvage first, then head in a do to bunker.

For 3.24 you have to re-think a lot how to play the game concerning the inventory.

the expansion and sale of components and weapons remains in the 3.24. you only have to store them here by freight elevator before the sale 💪
