I honestly wish they would extend the IAE in fleshing out the halls and stuff shown ... like allow us to use hollow view to zoom around or duno add something to actually do there beyond getting a rentalship for free.

The terrapin works well as an emergency evacuation ship, which is essentially what the new one is. As an actual drop ship, it's not very big so can't hold many troops, it's not well armed, and it lacks defensive turrets. It also only has a single access point. All of that adds up to it not being a very good base for a drop ship.

Yep the lightning is the best fighter in my opinion. I was able to hire one without the golden ticket. Shame the Starlancer didn't make the grade as I think it is one of the best ships. I hope one day to be able to get. I also really hope they release an exploration version of the Starlancer with a Medical bed one day soon.

Some years ago the BIS 'skin' of the Reclaimer was a CCU.. I didn't get that and applied it for fun... Since then I fly a purple white Reclaimer... Great that I can use a purple white skin on it now

I like many I see in here hate the IAE colors this year (hate pastels and white as major colors) and am happy none of my ships won this year....if I were to do this myself; Major Color: Deep Dark Purple, with a brushed aluminum finish. Mid Color: Mid Dark Grey, matt finish. Small Highlights: White, matt finish. The IAE was good'ish this year...I bought nothing as I have everything that I want to start 1.0 with...gotta have goals to work towards ingame. Great hob on IAE Bored, simple ship coverage with measured comintary. 🤜⚡🤛🍻

I did pick up the Starlancer MAX... Which I turned into the Terrapin Medic, which I have liked a lot better. The Starlancer has some interesting features, but it's layout is frankly quiet poor for hauling cargo and I am not sure if you're supposed to have a vehicle in the aft cargo section or not. With CIG taking away internal storage from ships, the Terrapin Medic has taken completely over the roll of bunker busting ship from the Cutter. The Tier 2 med bed and larger floor space just make it better. Also, love the blue/yellow paint scheme.

I had melted some ships and a big package so was looking at a Pioneer but didn't want to add anymore cash but only the warbond was available so I didn't bother got me some other ships instead and kept some cash back for the Starlancer BLD so no longer have a Galaxy, Phoenix, 400i but I got me a 600i in the hope they will look good after the insides are done

I admit the C1 Spirit really grew on me since I bought it in-game. I used to be a Cutlass guy for a long time, yet now all I need is the Spirit and a Taurus ^^

@svingbold honestly in my case it was mostly the aesthetics (I've had the cutty for a long time and got a bit fed up with the bare Drake look). The Spirit is a beauty, has great interior layout, the cargo access is very comfortable and it has functional internal storage. Other than that it seems to handle a bit better than the Cutlass, but I'm quite bad at combat in general, so don't take my word for it ^^

That purple skins is gross on ships but works well on those armour sets. IAE was a painful time for my wallet but that Paladin is going to be a firm favourite until it gets the inevitable nerf later down the road. FYI the MAX is an amazing ship so fantastic prize this month.

I'm on the fence with the paints. Last years were cooler but I don't hate the color or anything. I think they would have been better if they had a more mitallic finish.. The Matte isn't doing any favors.
