It's little cinematics like these that make our 'Verse seem "real" to me! ;) Just like with the commercials, the Mobilisation Initiative and now this which feels like it's grabbed straight out of a TV series/documentary, it brings that big hunk of space to a personal and comforting level.

I love this. This tells a story. When I'm in the verse I know I'll be looking at a crashed ship for a while. Because I'll know it could've been someone's. And then I'll build a home by it in remembrance, perhaps create a trading business for other players. They'll know me by the planet I'm on, word will spread of my business. Players will take items from me in exchange for currency. I'll expand my business, go on supply runs, and all of this started by that ship, so as to not make it so useless. I'll hop throughout the galaxy, planet to planet, finding more supplies, spreading word of my business. And then, finally one day, when I'm stuck in a battle against raiders my ship will be blown to bits and drift in space for another player to find. Maybe I'll even revisit it in my next life. This game is going to be amazing.

@Deno21003 жыл бұрын
@@HK94 Hopefully they do have camping of sorts, a surface survival mini game and a second market for ships that is made up entirely of older "retro or analog style" ships that cannot be bought but have to be found through missions, exploration and salvage. Like for instance finding a early model Freelancer that is visually and functionally slightly different than the ones we can buy. Having to restore it and maybe having the chance to sell it or collect ships like that. Though this would have to be hard to do, maybe a primary profession in the game. Also it would be awesome to survive on an abandoned space station. Collecting all the supplies and piling them away in one room as you try to restore power and hide from dangerous aliens or other players.

The perspective of this is "was". Past tense, and very fitting for the video of old wrecks. But that feeling of was, is a powerful word as is hope or destiny.
