I'm unironically so happy to see these prices finally increase ngl, I've been pretty much done with the past three wipes by the end of the first month in terms of progress.

No you need to make a choice how you want to play the game. And... In the end if you are a person that is fun to play with you find a good Org. And with the upcoming features on engineering and more on the big ships crew is needed.

Exactlly. It is so obvious, nobody will spend USD on the game or on more ship. They are not testing the economy at all and it is the released in 1 month.

ships, armor, guns, everything.. have been cheap so its easier to buy and test out. its got nothing to do with forcing us to pay real money lol some ships were ridiculously low priced compared to the relative ease that money can be made... 5mill for a Hercules, less than 10 for a 600i?? c'mon man!

@@Zalzany CR said from the beginning that SC would not be a Subscription based game. There are other ways to fund SC besides player subscriptions and if done right could pay alot more. Eve charged 20 per month when I was playing like 10 years or so ago and I heard they stopped player subscriptions and I have no idea how they are making ends meet, but the fact is they are still alive and kicking.

hmmm, so basically I need to deliver about 20,000 packages before I can afford a ship capable of earning decent credits? Here I thought doing several thousand deliveries was ridiculous, lol. These megacorps need to offer jobs where they provide a ship, but you can only use it for what they specifically assign you to, and you don't get the full profit as you would if you owned it yourself.

U can rent a ship and go for more lucrative loops with friends. Solo leveling must not be a viable way to buy 890, carrack or reclaimer.

What you say @weylinstoeppelmann9858 simply means you don't know what you can do in the game. There are great zero to hero guides. That show you how to start the game if you are solo to get your way up. Learning the game, as a new player with delivers and all the stuff you can combine with that to make enough money to rent a bigger ship (E.g. Conny Andromeda) buy armor do bunker it's such an easy way. But you need to want to play the game.

@@X-Wings-X-a-StarCitizen I'm aware of some things, but thus far the biggest challenge has been the social requirements. It's clearly a game that's 10x better with friends, but trusted friends that are interested in this game amount to maybe one but they're still not sure about it, and thus far I haven't had the opportunity to crew on something like a reclaimer for numerous reasons (already full, not interested, don't have one, don't trust a stranger, and so on)

@weylinstoeppelmann9858 you can glady hop into the discord or our Org and make a trial. And see how we play together and participate in the activities of our ppl. And if It is fun to play with you you get an invite to the Org in the end. But until there you participate and see as well if you like how we are playing. in what we are doing /aside of the Aliance stuff that is only for full Org member. The link is below in the video.

so heres the deal a price increase was always going to happen as it was stated years ago that this was going to happen it has nothing to do with making people buy ships with real money as some people are suggesting I just expected this to happen closer to release or at least when no more wipes before release instead of right now I don't think right now is the right time for a price increase imo.

@X-Wings-X-a-StarCitizen because the game is still in alpha new features still need to come online some of which need to be tested with ships such as hacking and repair with drones C.I.G needs as many people testing these features as possible while also alowing players easy access to the more expensive ships for over all enjoyment raising the priceses now makes all of this harder especially when you have an c2 packed full of eggs and you lose your ship to a bug. So thats why the price increase is not bad but the timing is.

Uh they wanted people to buy ships with real money since day one. So that logic doesn't work at all lol. Going "they always planed on increasing the price, oh and still selling them for cash with out lifetime warranties..." Its like fuck off second they removed life time warranties it became a cash grab lol. And they known since day one they make more money by selling ships that are not even permant any more they got temp insurance so at some point you may lose it and if you want it back grind hard or rebuy it for cash lol Like this entire game is built around the idea of milking people, you pointing out that this whole time they wanted to increase the prices doesn't disprove it child it does exact opposite it proves they knew to up sales they got do wipes and then increase prices to get people to buy ships with cash instead of grind. Its always been that way I bought in with idea once its out I can grind for my own shit, now its like ok were gonna keep wipping it, and make it harder but keep selling ships for cash. Its like the excuse was that was to help it get to EA, now the excuse is EA will never end till they stop buying ships lol

if u could make money sure its fine f not then no ^^ with this patch its going to be super hard tom,ake any cash at all so^^ made mining and salvage useless todo... so now u need to fight for next patch with is impossible unless u got a killer rig^^ grinding u can do on older rigs no prob but fighting when servers are lagging like hell and u got low fps is basically impossible...

Many performerance issues are tackled right now. But Yeah, you need a computer of this decade to play this game.
