Yeah, I'm glad that they actually made use of that space instead of leaving it blank. Only downside is that it only fits the X1 bikes and nothing else but that's Origin. Although I think we might be able to put a Ranger bike (or two) in there as well. 😉 I just hope that CIG can get their grav-lev bikes working properly and that we will see the X1 bikes soon.

@@robotspartan9100 Yeah, although it seemed pretty tricky. I saw a video of someone trying to get it in and it seemed more trouble than worth atm. Although a large part of that had to do with the way these anti-grav bikes behave at the moment. So here's hoping CIG can fix that someday soon. 😉

@@DanakarEndeel the way anti grav works is honestly the biggest issue with loading them. Like, a nox fits in a avenger titan (quite nicely in fact) but the moment you cross the threshold, it get catapulted into the ceiling.

I feel exactly like you. I always wanted a small "personal explorer" yacht type of ship to enjoy for myself when i'm not playing with the org and their large / capital ships. The 890 is way to expensive and the 600i just felt too much like a boat-for-hire that rich people would book to go on adventures and you, as the captain, would only provide the service. The 300i is way to small to fulfill that role of a personal small luxury boat. And now here we go with the 400i, it seems to fill the gap perfectly. I'm in.

Slap two more fixed Size-4 or even size-3's into the wings, to boost its pilot DPS a little bit more. If it's competing with the Connie and Corsair, it'll need a tiny bit more firepower as they are both respectable gunships. Apart from that though, the ship design is gorgeous.

Yeah, the firepower feels very anemic and it appears as if it was given a capacitor that was too small (just slightly larger than a Light Fighter in terms of shots before recharge). Here's hoping that's just a bug that will get fixed just like they did with the Mercury where it also had the wrong size capacitor at the start. Apparently its agility also leaves much to be desired (although that is getting checked by CIG atm; then again the Mecury has the same issue where it got defaulted to a base 30d/s with massive oversteering issues). 😉

@@Flyic you can buy it in game, you just have to wait is the ingame store mosly sure in the next patch, same for all the ships. You just buy them with money to help the developement but, when the game is in gold they are not supoused to let you buy any ship with real monet, all in game. As far as i know at leats. Ive bought i caterpillar in game for example doing some missions, and that ship cost around 300 dollars.

Yeah, and they do have some nice paintjobs for it too; although you can only get that dark metallic Meridian paint for free if you buy a standalone version as it's not available as a separate option. There's the Penumbra black with gold if you're Concierge (or know someone who is and can buy+gift it to you). So that should give you a nice Darth Maul-like ship. 😉

Gorgeous ship. Def could not resist getting one. Now you advertise it going to far away worlds with varied atmospheres (and presumably gravity and winds) as well as parts of space riddled with debris. Pls,pls make it agile for its size. For it to do any of those things well it needs to be a pleasure to pilot. It needs strong manoeuvring thrusters and hard acceleration and breaking. Compared to the Connie and Corsair (soonTM) it needs to be nimble. It has less than half the firepower of either. Mobility is its friend. Cheers!

Thats how the 400i came to be known - they forgot to remove it's references. I personally found proof that SDF shields were being worked on before they were announced as such for example. There are others who've found heaps more than me too, and continue to do so every patch that drops

Well, you're in luck as the ship is fully flightready and currently in Wave 1 of PTU. People already found several issues with it apparently regarding the pilot's capacitor being too small and that it flies like a brick or something. At least I saw people stating that the larger 600i actually flies better than the smaller 400i atm. But those things can be fixed relatively easily if needs be. The main thing to watch out for though is that you will only get that special Meridian metallic paint for free if you buy a standalone version of the ship. That particular paint is not available separately in the store.
