Awesome video! Wish I had joysticks. Makes me think it helps execute maneuvers with more control. Keyboard makes it difficult to rotate smoothly but its doable. Great content as always. Btw what that No Target Bug?

Not sure what causes it but you can see in the video the lack of a target triangle or bracket in the PU in certain situations. Sometimes you get a pip, sometimes not (you can see in the second clip the 325a is targeted in the target pane but no bracket or pip). These videos are also sort of intended to be historical records of each patch, so prominent bugs are important.

@@jossiwales It has different meanings for Air-to-Air vs. Air-to-Surface: 1. * [A/A] [S/A] Target destroyed. 2. [A/S] Weapons impact. 3. * [S/A] [S/S] Informative call to observer or spotter 5 seconds prior to estimated time of impact. www.marines.mil/Portals/1/Publications/MCRP%203-30B.1.pdf?ver=2020-06-05-090226-063 That said, I don't mind these being adapted as needed for the game. But, the usage in the video is in line with the above definition.

@@LegacyFleet That's an old WWII terminology, it was only utilized to signify a kill during WWII when target hits didn't always guarantee a kill and a kill was confirmed upon the aircraft splashing into the water. Modern military terminology only uses the term to indicate that: A/A Target hit with expended munition. A/S Munition impact imminent S/S Munition impact Furthermore, dogfights in general do not happen in modern warfare which has led to the evolution of the terminology since dog fighting is obsolete. However, you and your friends can adapt any terminology you like for the game, I was only commenting that, though technically incorrect, it was interesting.

That's cool, but our usage is not incorrect. I linked to you the May 2020 version of the ALSA manual. It's fine if you use it differently. But our usage is correct per joint standardization.

They are all even teams, with both teams up on Discord. The primary strategy in any team fight is to temporarily turn a 3v3 (or whatever) into a 3v1.
