currently doing the hoverquad referal lti token xD, as they dont do any cheap warbond upgrades anymore really i just referred myself then gifted the pack, the C1 was on warbond upgradde last week so after using the store credit from the gifted cash from alt account i got the quad to cuttlass black, warbond upgraded to C1, i have prospector to zeus CL, and Terrapin to starlancer max warbond, still unsure on waht i want to settle with on the lti token but im hoping they have a warbond upgrade for the mk2 hornet ghost.

I am so confused, why are you explaining it backwards? Lets take your M2 example, 485.- Warbond price. If I understand you correctly, if I wanted to get that ship at that price I would have to get it at a future IAE AFTER I have chained up to the 600i Warbond.. and the one before that, and before that? I get the part why it might take years, but I feel like you are not explaining the chain at all. It makes sense if you already have a 600i chained. But how do you get to that point from some 30.- LTI with only warbonds? That is the real question I dont feel is answered. Or is it that you are adding store credit with those "hops" like the 9.- from 600i to M2 and you keep adding store credit over the years till you've worked your way back to 485.- total in store credit? I apologise if I am just fundamentaly not undertanding the system, but for someone who is planing to do a chain to a bigger ship as cheap as possible I just do not understand it with this backwards logic. My understanding was that if I start with a 30.- LTI token, I wait till some 40.- ship comes along with a 35.- Warbond to buy. So I upgrade to with only 5.- spent but my LTI token is now worth 40.- and continue that way till I eventually reach my desired ship.

1/ If you wanted the M2, you would get the M2 Warbond Now, that would take you down to the 600i. 2/ So now you need to get a 600i warbond down to something else.(when you can get it) Then keep going down to what you have. It doesnt matter in what order you get the warbonds or when. If you chain up or down. (But you save More money with the end of chain warbonds, so its best to start with those if you can.) Why are you saying you would have to get it (M2) at a future IAE? When you can just buy the warbond for it now? You might have to get OTHER warbonds for your chain at others IAE, if they don't sell them now as I said. Its best to get warbond from one ship to another. But you might not beable to and have gaps in your chain, like if their is a $5, $10, $15 gap that you would fill with just buying a normal standard upgrade.

@@NOOBLETS I see.. so what you are saying is, this would create a sort of digital breadcrumb trail in your hangar with the warbond discounts applied, then when I've reached the final ship I wish to upgrade from, I hit that "apply" or something like that you mentioned? So at no point during this would I actually own any ship in the chain (of course) until I reached the final step of my choosing and "activated" it all?

@@captainmadpat No that wrong. 1/ You own your first ship, say an AURORA 2/ you buy a warbond upgrade from an AURORA to a CUTTER For $5 3/ You can apply that warbond to the CUTTER right away, and your ship is now converted to a CUTTER! 4/ Then you buy a warbond upgrade from your CUTTER to a 300i 5/ You can apply that warbond to turn your cutter into a 300i 6/ You only need to wait and not apply the upgrades if they are Standard Upgrades, as your waiting to replace them with cheaper warbond ones. 7/ You can apply any Upgrades you with to the ship you want. Or save and not apply you upgrades if your not sure you will like the ship and want to swap the final upgrade for another ship 8/ No of the UPGRADES are Ships! You can only apply an upgrade to a FULL Ship! They are only ADDING onto that ship with an upgrade. 9/ So you need your upgrade going from your starting ship, in a chain all the way up to your final ship. Or Backways all the way down to your starting ship. It doesn't matter as long as you have all your upgrade in a chain.

I feel like ccu chaining ships under 100$ died over a year ago. There hasn't been any ship or vehicle under 100$ as a warbond upgrade since early 2023, so you are stuck with the cheaper ships and won't get into the +110$ range, where they usually start happening. It's so stupid. We all know CIG loves money more than anything, so why wasting the chance to hook new players with cheap warbond ships, to bridge the gap? ☹️

Yer i've not seen lower warbonds for years, i hope they come back, but we will see on this IAE. They used to do 2 warbonds one cheap ship then one high cost, but most are just high cost upgrades now.

@NOOBLETS It's crazy to have to do all that to get cheaper/free stuff. I initially paid $30 back in 2013 as a backer. Your video made me download it and see what's going on with it. I immediately uninstalled it. $700 million and a decade later and the game is still very rough around the edges. I was hoping it would fill in the void Eve Online left but I guess not. @4rk4L1f3 it's not as complicated as it sounds, you're basically just upgrading your ship to other ships that have a discounted price during IAE. You keep upgrading until you reach the ship you want, instead of just making the jump from your current ship to the one you want. But yeah the game is a massive scam CIG always under delivers and makes excuses but they always have ships coming out for us to spend money on
