Heart of the Wood is an edible healing item, but it dehydrates you faster. Like medpens/guns using them temporarily increases your blood toxin levels. The best place to find them is near the temperate wooded points of interests on MT and its rivers.

drives me nuts that they stared working on harvestable gameplay like this, then made those items spawn in huge amounts in loot boxes, and THEN made them worthless to sell :P (tis a bug on IC, they moved the decimal point accidentally, so they are worth 10% of what they were)

Yeah I was a bit disappointed myself. It literally took me weeks to find the mushrooms. Think they should be the most expensive thing in the game. 🤣
