1:55 The specs state that the Zeus has 2x S4 Fixed weapons, but by the time we get this ship, ALL fixed weapons will be gimbaled by default and without going down a size. That means that she will have 2x S4 gimbaled weapons under pilot control.

I don't think people realise that the Zeus ES has the same size radar as a Carrack!!! A LARGE radar on a Medium ship is a BIG deal for anyone who wants to get into exploration as a solo pilot or at least with 1 or 2 buddies. This is what is making me seriously consider melting my 400i for the smaller, cheaper ship. I don't care about guns, the 4x S2 (M) shields is a very nice bonus, I intend to avoid combat at all costs, but that big radar appears to be a bit of a game changer, imo. Very interested in gettnig more info on the ES when it drops.

You are right I was thinking the same thing, this is by far one of the strongest lineups of variant ships, but ES could have some strong gameplay later on with scanning.

I mean, fair, but exploration isn't all about the Radar so far as I'm aware. The Zeus ES has no scanning array. Even the Freelancer DUR has a S1 Scanner, and S2x3 Radars.

A possible secondary duty could be as a scout or SWAC for a fleet.

I have the ES but a CCu for a CL. If the CL comes with suit lockers like the interior image shows, then I think it's the better bet than the ES witch such a vast amount of cargo space. Sure less shields but it will have more armor.

Nice video. I wonder why the MR only has 2 prisoner pods as it seems to me that’s its primary function. Compare this to the 4 in the Cutlass Blue and it makes me scratch my head a bit. Subbed for more and good luck!

Maybe it something they change with our feedback, as the game play gets flushed out more. I take that is the variant you are going be getting?

@@CozmicWonderer I have seen other images that make it look like the MR has 2 pods on either side, one stacked on top of the other. I think it was in Jump Point. I am seriously thinking of melting my Reclaimer and buying all 3 variants of the Zeus 😂 I have the MR in my hangar now (A1 loaner) but I think the ES will be amazing with that S3 tank and Radar on a medium ship! I did read these will be however less nimble and slower than their C1 Crusader counterparts. Do you have a preference?

I got the MR as I didn't own any bounty ship... Most of my ships are really more "multi purpose" or industrial. So I really had to get that one. Thought about replacing the C1 for the CL, but the C1 is way too beautiful! Will have problems is CIG comes with a bounty variant for Crusader Industries, as I love their design...

@drgajo The C1 has started to grow on me as well, I think they mentioned giving it more cargo to compete with the CL, also that is a good idea 👍 for that variant that is a bounty hunter!!!

I wish they would give us more variants for every ship to flesh out each profession, the BH ships are really lacking given how popular it will be.

@@QuotidianStupidity I feel the same way, most ships could use more variants, and I also feel that each profession within reason, should have a starter ship that aids your in your career path, so maybe you don't have to go multi-role ship from the beginning, instead right into your career path from the beginning if you choose to do so.

With Star Citizen, I like to do a little of everything, bounty hunting being one of them, so yes I do I do bounty hunting, it has me wanting to get the MR variant because of that, it is going to be a scary ship if it is coming for you, also very happy you enjoy the video!!!😀

when you referred to the remote turret on the ES if you look at the image the connected section has two pieces jutting out, indicating that its 2x size 3 guns. yea i know its awkward but when they list turret size its not indicative of the guns on the turret itself.

In the video at the end it talked about this is in the white box phase and things are subject to change, it is a big part why I included it in the video, but currently until they change, this information is on the site, this isn’t speculating, all these are actual facts, but yes to your point things may change, and thanks for watching and commenting, I hope the add the side door to the MSR soon

What i dont like is, the C1 and the Cutty got 1 sz2 shields but this ford f150 ass ship gets three shields and emps and such and its way smaller than the two!? Make it make sense!? Ergo has more amenities than both ships and they’re bigger!?
