I grew up in the mid 2000's and played this game all throughout my childhood. I still really like it.

As an outsider to the franchise and a rail shooter novice, I was surprised with how much I enjoyed the game. Became pretty clear why it is so beloved.

When I was a kid I beat this game once and only once. This damn game has some sort of mystical force over me that prevents me from beating it a 2nd time. WHY CAN'T I BREAK THIS CURSE!?

I do prefer playing this one to its re-imagining, StarFox 64.

@Alex Adrift 64 is by a lot of the fandom, the later games, especially adventures, can be a bit divisive depending on who you ask.
