Hello, how does this speedrun work?

This category is "All Gateways Single File," two major discoveries ago this was the old Any% category. After the discovery of the Void Walk glitch, now seen in the new Any%, the old Any% was renamed to "All Gateways," with the added requirement that the game must be completed while opening all the gateways to all 4 of the games dungeon in an effort to separate it from the new Any%. Specifically, this All Gateways category requires the use of only 1 single file, which means that no tricks utilizing Event Storage Warp are utilized.

@@starfalco64 Thank you. I suppose this game has more tricks to beat it faster than other StarFox games since it's significantly longer and less on rails.

@@HylianWindRider I run a few Star Fox games and I'm hesitant to say that the others, even the on-rails ones, don't have tricks, but this game being an open world adventure that is built entirely differently than the other games lends itself to completely different tricks unlike any of the other games. Most of the glitches in this game involve hitting event triggers at unintended times, earlier than we are supposed to be able to in order to skip large portions of the game. Though, technically, this category actually cuts out significantly less than most other glitched categories do. Btw, this PB is actually out of date, my new best is 4:34:43 and can be found on speedrun.com and my Twitch.

@starfalco64 So it's like OOT where you trigger events early? Although not as extreme. Your speedruns don't seem to get a whole lot of views, so I must have been lucky to have this recommended to me. I think something that could help is posting your StarFox speedruns on the subreddit. It might fulfill a niche not seen there.
