Glitchman, what a fantastic production!! You had been hinting at this video for quite some time now, and I can't even begin to imagine the magnitude of time, effort, and creative energy that went into making this! The fact that you recorded all of this footage - and in spite of frustrating circumstances that could easily sap away motivation - is hugely impressive in itself, and the upscaling and modification of aspect ratio to 4k results in a gorgeous visual display! Honestly, these graphics are far beyond what the GameCube is capable of, rivaling some of the Wii's best-looking titles. This is especially apparent in the lighting and particle effects, which I always felt were among this game's greatest assets, graphically speaking. To this day, the Assault Arwing design is still my favorite! 💛 And man, the fact that you were able to replace the official audio using your own music is next-level. Your understanding of these programs - knowing where to find them, and how to utilize them - is seriously impressive, and I give you the highest props for the insane amount of work you did reworking the cutscenes entirely. Having to locate the correct voice clips and SFX (amidst over a thousand files, no less) and place them with precision, then balance them against your own added music is no small feat! Typically, stuff on this scale would be done by a production team, on powerful hardware, but you took on this task as a one-man team, even if it meant months of planning, producing, and polishing! Your remixes of the SNES Star Fox Main Theme and Corneria truly blew me away, and I especially love the hard D&B style you went with for the latter. I'm tempted to comment on them in detail here, but I'll hold off on that for when you release the full versions (which I'm so psyched for 😁). But again, hearing your remix of the iconic theme that plays when the credits roll for the OG Star Fox, I just about teared up. It was such a powerful and cinematic opening, and your music choices fit the gameplay cutscene footage perfectly. Also, the transitions between segments are tight as heck! I love the use of different effects, like whiteouts, blackouts, motion blurs, and more. The timing and coordination of scenes feels so well-paced, too. Just mapping it all out must have been a huge process in of itself! If this were a trailer for a Star Fox movie, I'd be incredibly hyped to see it. And your use of text overlays is awesome, as well - love that touch with the word "assault" lingering after the surrounding text fades, by the way! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make the premiere (and your first one, too 😭), but I'm really glad to hear that it was a success, and it warms my heart so much to see all these people in the comments section writing such loving and encouraging words! _This_ is what it's all about!! I'm really hoping that this labor of love will have viral success, as MagnusGatto mentioned, but regardless, it's clear that anyone who watches it will be wowed by the sheer effort and production value here. Absolutely stellar work, my friend! ☄

Equalyze! It was a great pleasure reading your detailed comment and feedback! It brings me great happiness to be able to make videos like this for people who really enjoy them. Indeed, this was a planetary-scale project, as you mentioned not too long ago, and I had less than ideal circumstances when producing it, but I'm glad I was able to finish it. I'm glad you noticed all the details that went into this! The story cutscenes upscaled to 4K were provided by @KrystalArchive, he did an amazing job. The only thing was that the aspect ratio was slightly off, so I had to manually correct the aspect ratio on my end using FFMPEG, which was a trial-and-error process, but eventually I landed on the correct pixel proportions to get the video in proper 16:9 aspect ratio. The rest of the footage, including the gameplay and most of the in-game cutscenes were recorded by me. What a fun project to work on, despite the delays encountered! Thank you again once more for your support man! I really appreciate it! 😁

Yeah, unfortunately, this month hasn't been super conducive to doing much outside of work and family commitments, but I'm hoping that things will be a bit more relaxed after New Years, when there's a lull in activity. Ok time to comment! I read your video description and what an amazing feat you achieved IN JUST 3 MONTHS! extremely impressive and I can see all the hard work that went into it! Absolutely phenomenal remixes from you as well as incorporation of an epic orchestral track! The cinematic effect was REAL ! I had this up on my larger monitor AND I really truly felt like I was in a theater! Incredible width to sound and spacing that surrounded me! Very well done on the audio engineering and design and the quality is just simply astounding (can't wait for your remixes to drop now!) Its fantastic when a group can come together to put together resources and you're able to draw from that. I love these niche communities for that reason, everyone comes together and wants to help everyone Incredible how you also went through actual hardware and software to get here! That was awesome man! When 0:49 started and your unreleased Corneria remix start to play, I legit had a pog face. That sounds so good! The editing is insane as well! I love how they all jump into their seats as the snare hits and the ships all take off when the drop hits. The editing is just perfect! I feel like if nintendo remade or remastered this game, the reveal trailer would be something similar. To show that this game isn't 64 again for outsiders as well as being more then just an on rail shooter.
