The opening cinematic is awesome! I wish this was in the finished game!! Fox looks damn good in realistic style! I can't believe they removed the first person view. That would've made the ground missions better! I think this beta build looks great! I wanna play it now! The negative reception this trailer got was ridiculous. It's not that terrible to me! The only real negative thing I can point out is Fox voice. Good thing they replaced it with a older and more mature voice. Thank you Jim Walker! This trailer got me excited for Star Fox Assault all over again!

It does look a whole lot rougher in this initial trailer. I’m so glad it got a ton of polish before release, as it holds up astonishingly well against most of the GameCube’s library (and looks better than most Wii games), even comparing quite favorably to some Nintendo Switch games when run through the Dolphin emulator at 1080p.

i think so. i mean well just look at this, one scene shows fox running while the camera is moving around him, this is more like a cgi/ gamecube graphics tech demo. also fox sounds like a 15 year old.

Star fox assault was a double edged sword. Sadly the bad edge was a lot bigger than the good edge. The classic flying stages looked great and were amazing, but the ground levels were garbage and the visuals took a heavy hit. Heck, Star Fox adventures looked a lot better than this. Here's hoping that Zero will give the series redemption!

Krustentier7 StarFox Assault had EXCELLENT Arwing gameplay, the first time it felt like we were TRULY flying, not hovering around just barely in the air like in 64, and the LandMaster was an actual tank. I like the StarFox 2 SNES vibe in ground combat on Zero, but other than that it looks very disappointing, I can't believe I waited 10 years to see that...
