After 15 yrs of policy holding, I am raising Flag about poor service and performance. Even if there is a genuine claim with all documents submitted there are high chances of rejection without a valid reason. There are no communication channel to address grievance, you will not get any support. I will suggest instead of buying insurance do a seperate SIP and accumulate emergency funds for future

My parents are covered under FHO Policy since 2018, when the eldest member's age was 60. Now, if I migrate from FHO to Assure Policy in 2023 with the eldest member's age is 65, will the 10% co-pay be applicable or not by considering the age of entry to Star Health was 60 in 2018.

feels like, those who have earned limit of coverage say for Eg; 10 lakh policy will be converted to 16 lakh if there is no claim for 4 years , So this benefit will be destroyed when we port in to this new policy and also need to wait 24 months to pass for certain treatments. this new policy may be good for fresh opening of policies and not for the existing holders who wished to port.
