I found a 1988 $1, serial number 00003042, would the year and low serial be worth anything?

You want to see notes under 1000 for them to have additional value as a fancy serial number. If it's in good shape it's probably worth a few bucks.

In the b series 2013 the rares are from DC 1 - 00 250 000 the ones you pull are from FW

Yes. Look it up to see if it’s rare. Then check the fancy serial numbers for low numbers because yours is a 3 digit. I never found one that low.

also i was not aware the B series 2013 started with 1 The 3 i have are B fw 06176505* 06813720* and 08607914* I dont think they are worth much.

The site tells you the exact numbers to look for. Some people say $10. Some say up to $50! I’m of the $10 group.
