Second Story is one of my favorite games of all time.. Claude's voice in Second Evolution sounds so funny to me!
@AdamEspersona10 жыл бұрын
Then again, he IS voiced by the voice of Shinji Ikari. So make of that what you will lol

Bahaha I knew that voice sounded familiar.. I really don't think it fits with Claude's character though.

You seem like a veteran to this game.. What is the best party I can make on here? I want to buy the game kind of. I played Radiata Stories and want to try this, but I want to know who are the best people to recruit lol.

TerraOblivion27 That's the thing: everyone has their own strengths and drawbacks. But definitely, in terms of effective mainstays, there's Claude, Rena, and Celine. More often than not, you'll most likely have those three in every battle with the exception of certain party members for certain dungeons (i.e. Leon for the Hoffman Ruins bosses fight due to their weaknesses to Dark spells) or if you're willing to mix and match your party around to give them equal experience. I mean, in the Hoffman Ruins as Rena, since Claude has the better Symbology (due to Rena's party not able to keep Leon for the entire game) in his team, I settled for using my mainstays as well as using someone who is normally underestimated because of his short-range fighting. As I demonstrated in part 26, he's quite a beast when used properly.

TerraOblivion27 In short, it's best to go with a party you're comfortable with and try experimenting for yourself; that's the best way to play as you'll be able to find your own strategies that way. After all, everyone has their own ways of playing RPGs and my playthroughs are just all one of many ways to play them.

Omg, so Star Ocean 1 and 2 are connected. I didn't know that Ronyx was Claude's father. Surprising but wish Star Ocean 3, 4, and 5 are connected but there hasn't no same characters and different years too. Also, this is different, when you play as Claude side, Rena don't tour you around. In Rena's side, she tour Claude around before heading home.

In Japanese, Claude is voiced by Yuuji Ueda in the original version, while in this remake he's voiced by Daisuke Namikawa instead. Former voice: Zappa (Guilty Gear), portrayals of Keiji Maeda and Kojirou Sasaki (Samurai Warriors/Sengoku Musou), Strider Hiryuu (Strider; via Marvel vs. Capcom series), Keitarou Urashima (Love Hina), several Pokemon voices (including Greninja/Gekkouga via Smash 4), Blanka (Street Fighter Alpha/Zero, all the way to SF4; also used to voice Vega/Balrog/Claw in those games) Latter voice: Both Italy brothers (Axis Powers Hetalia), Hisoka (Hunter X Hunter 2011), Lucario and Goyo/Lucian (Pokemon; via the Mystery of Mew movie and Smash Bros.), Yuu Narukami (Persona 4), Eustass Kid (One Piece), Kouki Akune (Medaka Box), portrayals of Musashi Miyamoto (Sengoku Basara and Musashi Gundoh), Giorno Giovanna (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure; previous voiced by Romi Park) Meanwhile, Rena is voiced by Aya Hisakawa (Japanese original) and Nana Mizuki (Japanese remake). BTW, yes, I'm actually a huge voice actor nut for both Japanese and English VA's on the anime side. :P

Adam Schwartze Ah. Funny enough, via your P3 profile pic... God dammit, Daisuke Namikawa... Claude: PERUSONA....IZANAGI!!! JIO!!!! RAIKOUZAN!!! Warning, random voice actor parallels (especially in Japanese) are inbound. :P

Something about the grainy sounding overacting voice acting just worked for me. "TEAR INTO PIECES!" I prefer them for nostalgia reasons.

a remake for the first Star ocean but no remake for Xeogears, Grandia II, or Harvest moon?

Adam Schwartze It's also hard to find a dreamcast that works. The ps2 version of Grandia just sucks balls, horrible choppy cut scenes, lag, etc. Even the pc version sucks ass.

Doesn't Rena Voice sounds like Marinette From Miraculous Ladybug?
@AdamEspersona6 жыл бұрын
Nope, that's not Cristina Vee. Rena's VA in this is actually Claudia Lenz, a pseudonym for Eden Riegel, the younger sister of voice-over veteran Sam Riegel. You may have recognized her talents as Bianca on "All My Children". And in her VO credits, she's also done work in Persona, Resident Evil, and various other games.

TBH this (PSP) version is far better the the (PSX) version. Better gfx and sound. The V/OS r better too.

I beg to differ. The PSX version had the bad voice acting, whereas the voice acting here is a lot better.
