Heads up for whoever reads comments, you can craft the relatively low material Dark Matter into Tri-Emblems using Elena and Laeticia (maybe more) using crafting. Costs quite literally 1/30th the cost of Philosopher Stones, and way more accessible.

This stuff is 100% not needed on nomarl but it's 100% required on the hardest Difficulty that you unlock

Is there a cap for the point blank damage? Otherwise, isn't it more optimal to use 4 x 40% point blank for eg?

Is it just me or does the factor "% chance of activating skills without consuming AP" not work at all? The food version of it works great but i cannot get it to proc from an accessory.

they are mistranslation in english version . Only up to 20 % correct

taking forever for this game to get cracked. Also id imagine there are way better accessories you can synthesize. Ive never once used a tri eblem in the star ocean games. Only time i used it was in Radiata Stories And yes I plan on buying this game I'm not thief

can confirm nothing better (have all items created) and tri emblum is always bis once synthesised properly with correct factors for a min max set up

Is there any alternative factors that you suggest to replace the 55% to divinity, %chance to not use AP(currently bugged for character you use), and %chance to pierce thru elemental resistance(if your character has no element). Also, i'm assuming that for characters like Albaird and Marielle, do you just use the %increase atk for long distance?

From your testing of piece by piece in the end it doesnt seem like accessory factor scale that high i would guess 60-70% accessory facotr is the max that stack? other wise damage would be so much more.

correct, it caps at 60% as we have recently found out, luckily enough that only effects the weapon and armor factors, (hence why those videos havnt come out today) accessory factors, thankfully are still the same even without the excess insane boosts. infact, its even more important now to mix the factors on the accessories to get as many multipliers as we can. so for example instead of going all + divinity damage or +point blank damage, now we want 1 of each on accessories which we then max out with the 60% accessory factor boost (cap) so we have 8 boosted factors on accessories, then on your armor use your remaining 2 slots to boost weapon and then throw on remaining multipliers/stat boosts, i have 1 character set up like this currently and down EQ in under 5 seconds

Would it not be better to make Mina invincible with damage mit to have permanent raise and then craft philosophers stones into Maria figures using Elena to stack up +33% dmg long range and put those on the accessories to one tap ethereal queen with Marielle's energy beam?

by using no guard and first aid along with absorb damage she is invincable anyway, and the factors have caps on them so stacking multiple long ranges wouldnt do anything

@@Primalliquid92 Oh awesome! Thanks for the reply/clarify. I was experimenting with crafting and wasn't sure how they stacked up yet. I also didn't know certain factors had invisible caps. I thought the %'s were multipliers and had infinite potential as long as the factor number existed. Awesome vid btw!

use a single factor slot accessory and reshuffle if you can. save the game before you do. you might need to reload the game a few times.

He was showing that, when you factor lock the ones you want and then synth another piece of gear with factors you want there is a chance they will override the factors you don't want. Just save scum and repeat until you get the ideal setup

I was wondering if you got 48% accessories boosting factors on your armor, and then you add 48% armor factor boosting on your weapon, would the 48% factor boosting on the armor for accessories would go up, maybe capping the 60%?...

I tried this myself and have to ask something. i put a 40% no AP on Skilluse on an tri-emblem and even with the cap, it should be decent enough. but it seems it doesnt work at all, i would almost say i never had a proc of it. after i switched to the figurine with the factor, it seems like it worked. is the factor broken or am i just stupid/missing smt?

the factor itself seems to be bugged, it triggers ALOT more often on AI controlled characters than player controlled

SO4 battle trophies, while fun to me, are objectively a pain to do let alone cover each one. There are guides online though that give explanation. Great game, but takes 100s of hours to platinum

Help! Sorry this is a little unrelated but I am stuck in the Scorpius Spire. Did anyone else have trouble finding the Transport Orb? I have been looking for hours. I gave up and eventually looked at a KZbin tutorial video on Scorpium Spire. In that video it shows Raymond picking up the orb from a stand. There is no orb for me there though. Is this a bug? I am using the PS5 version. Any help is appreciated.

Naturally. Every Star Ocean game has Tri-Emblems (a lot of Tri-Ace games in general has it) and it's pretty essential for taking on Gabriel Celeste and Ethereal Queen (2 bosses that tend to be in most Tri-Ace games as well)

@@DarkFrozenDepths Its not essential for beating the superbosses whatsoever even in chaos difficulty..its just a means to being overpowered...and in alot of their games is given as a reward when you beat the Ethereal Queen

queen has never dropped tri-emblums, as far as i can remember they were always from santa ect, anywho good luck beating etheral queen on chaos without min maxed equipment, she'll just stun lock you and blow your whole party up at once

Yep my rng is non existent due to blew through every mat maxed out and nothing even close to what your pulling reload and on very last philosopher's stone would get a 33% dmg dealt. Wasn't worth it IMHO but definitely gonna b a while before I see any of that.. craft grind massacre continues.

accessory bonus % do yes, the factors on accessories will not change because of that though, it just means i need to change my weapon and armor guides which im in the process of doing (which makes the build even more op i might add after testing on 1 character, EQ goes down in under 5 seconds with this new build)

@@Primalliquid92 Yeah, still though crafting is super broken, even with the accessory cap. I don't even know if you'll really need builds in the end if you can just make 1 OP set for everything. I was kind of excited about making all kinds of different builds with the crafting, but here we are one shotting super bosses. Oh well finish this game up, complete the story/achievements - head back to MH

oh, there ARE different builds, in the sense of you want 3 different sets. 1 for melee, 1 for magic and 1 for nina
