i use guitar tuna the closest i can get to getting the strings to sound like that are -6 on each string. i don’t really know the exact way to do tunings i’m fairly new at guitar but i got it to sound pretty good

Just a heads up: this may look like a deceptively easy song to play or sing separately - and yes, from a harmonic standpoint it is. but from a rhythmic standpoint, I'd say it's way harder. you're singing 12th/24th notes while playing a hemiola of 16th/32nd notes on the guitar. literally everyone's covers on KZbin have skewed the rhythmic part on the guitar and make it sound like Delilah lol. so don't feel discouraged if you find this hard. it's challenging even for myself, and rhythmic stuff usually goes under the radar, especially for the layman, but if you're bad at it, it shows up in your playing. ofcourse I'm being super critical but your rhythmic sense will be far greater by the end of it, if you found this difficult to sing while playing. have an awesome day guys :')

Question/s. I don't know much about alternative tuning. Like you explained the quarter step down is tuned down just before each string is on the lower note. A half step down is completely tuned to the lower note? Right? What's drop D tuning then? Only the lower E is dropped down? Sorry for picking your brain like this. Just curious.

Progressive Great questions man! 1) Yes, half step down is completely lowered to the next note down, so: D# G# C# F# A# D# 2) Yes, Drop D is when you tune the Low E string down down a whole step to a D, but everything else stays the same. So: D A D G B e Hope that answers your questions my friend :)

Hold them down harder, if they aren’t making a noise that means your pressing down not hard enough and muting your strings. I’m also new to this, I was was also confused but then I learned haha
