Okay so I've been asking this because IDK anything about immigration laws and such other than bare basic information. So please someone clarify this for me, Angel married Simone, an american citizen, so he should be able to considered for a green card. But it was denied? could someone explain to me why?

BriEva13 based on my understanding, even with them being married , he is technically still illegal in the country, so it "trumps" marriage.... without legal papers saying that he can be in the country, conduct business and all of that, the marriage isn't 100% legit

Reading this made me curious so I searched it up. Apparently since he's married if he'd been in the us legally, like a visa or something I think, then he would've had a good chance of getting a green card but unfortunately, if you're there unlawfully then there's a really big waiting time. He'll have to attend an interview at a us embassy in his home country. But that means he won't be allowed back in for a few years if he was already here illegally. If he'd been in the us for 180 days or more, then he'd have to wait 3 years. If he stayed here for more than a year(which he did because he didn't know) he'll have to wait 10 years before being allowed back in. Again this IS being married to a us citizen so he does have better luck than if he wasn't. Not that it makes it better. Oh and that's if they let him enter at all, they might keep him out permanently. The only chance he'd be let in sooner or at all is if the spouse could prove they'd be at risk if the spouse didn't return. SO uh, I don't Angel will be coming back anytime soon.

Sorry for the long paragraph. And honestly I thought the same thing, if they're married he should have a better chance, but I was wrong. And I think there's a bigger chance he won't come back because the actor in real life is starting another show and an album with his wife, or he already did so I'm guessing if he leaves the show it's to continue that.
