I really love the lower quality videos, they give me more tingles than the higher quality ones (for some reason). But even now they're still fantastic.

Something to do with her voice as well. She has more of an accent in these videos whereas in the more recent ones you can clearly hear that she spent her life in the US as her accent sounds more American.

I enjoy the fact that every sound made has a purpose, rather than just randomly tapping and scratching things. All well and good, but I find ASMR most powerful when it comes from ambient coincidental sounds, rather than those made for the purpose of triggering ASMR. You're showing us how to do something and it just so happens to put me to sleep. (in a good way) Thanks.

I used your directions for these again. I had to decorate the lobby of our high school auditorium for our winter concert and these worked perfectly. I actually printed Christmas song sheet music from the internet then cut the papers into 8x8 squares. I used 8 pieces to make the star and they turned out fantastic! Everyone thought I slaved away for days making them. :-) Thank you once again for this video tutorial, Maria.

Garden Glow. Lovely ideas! You could also use (something new to me) glitter paper! Maybe more expensive to make (sorry, don't remember cost) but w/low lighting would be SO glitter-y!! You know how glitter goes EVERYWHERE! Can you imagine making whole sheets of it??!! What's also nice about these is pretty young kids could probably make these too.

She is the best, I like her older videos best, I like the soft spoken smooth natural flow voice not so much whispering and slow it’s not natural sounding as no one really talks slow in real life as it would be annoying waiting for the words to come out, but as I said she is the best in soft spoken

Nope not the only one. I used to watch PBS craft shows as a teenager just bc the soft spoken women and the sounds of the paper and the brushes made me tingle. I always thought i was just strange as a kid and back then ASMR wasnt even a thing. Lol. I discovered ASMR just a coupke months back when I accidentally came across the infamous 3D sound video called "The Tucker Zone" which led me to a binaural haircut video and watching that suddenly ASMR videos were suggested . I watched my first one which was Gentle Whispers haircut and the rest is tingly history. Now i cant fall asleep without listening to an ASMR video.

OMG I love this!! My mind was all a whirl thinking of the different papers I have and can use to make these. I'm going to make two first thing in the morning to go along side a bulletin board I am decorating in the school library where I work. I would suggest to anyone who is having a child do the decorating that the drawing is done before cutting. An older kid might be able to design it after the cutting but a little one might have difficulty not tearing the paper. Thank you, Maria!
