The noise heard is coming from the chain guard on either the crank sprocket or the flywheel sprocket. Absolutely 100% guaranteed the brake pad will not make that much noise. On average in a high volume Studio you can get a couple years abuse on the spinner brake pads before needing to replace them. That brake pad on that bike was relatively new and not worn out. I maintain 300 spinner indoor cycling bikes a month at over seven studios in Los Angeles.

Thanks for the video. Where can you buy these parts if I want to fix it at home?

We find that the BB / bearing's creak over time. The retaining compound seems to lose its hold. We're using loc-Tite 690 and the recommended Loc-Tite prep / degreaser. Bearings installed with a threaded BB press. Any thoughts / time? Thanks H

My spinner blade is making an awful and loud chain noise. Bought the bike second hand. Lubricated the chain with a wax based product line up the flywheel, checked tension of the chain but still the sound. Could it be the bearings of the flywheel need to be replaced?

See my review above. Remove the plastic chain guard. There you will see a plastic guard that protect the fingers from going into the chain, this is mounted around the crank sprocket. Additionally the guard on the flywheel sprocket maybe rubbing as well
