I wish games like these took off. There's a PCVR game called Carrier Command 2 that's quite similar to this, only at sea. Would be cool if there were enough players in the world to keep those types of games going.

It probably would have taken off if they had of added more content to it. It’s a brilliant VR game one the best imo but once you did all the missions and reached top rank which didn’t take that long that was kind of it, then your just replaying old missions really.

They never pulled the plug. A community, albeit hardcore fans, still regularly play this game - I'm one of those. At best, you'll have around 30 people on the game at any one time. While yes, they de-listed it very briefly, people who still had the game could still play it with others, and they also solved the copyright issues.

De-listed in Feb '22 then re-listed it in April '22. They resolved the copyright issues.

No, I just saw this posted somewhere online. Don't know the details on licensing. You should do a couple more Bridge Crew videos. You have a large following and it could go a long way towards reigniting interest in this game. It was ahead of it's time and if it had been released later than it was I feel it would've been way more popular. All the new Trek shows on tv at the moment could only help renew interest. It's apparent you have a love for this game. Please do what you can for this wonderful title 😀

It is a shame that the developers no longer created more missions for the game, they left it in oblivion. And the worst thing is that it is not modifiable, nor does it have a mission editor or anything. The hassle of the microphone to use MP is a pain in the ass! Sometimes it works and many times it doesn't.

There was a certain sense of satisfaction of playing as a captian and making a mission go well. The captian technically does not control anything directly but is the brain. Had a captian who fumbled and we got wrecked.

I see this got added back on the meta store last year after only been delisted for a couple of months. Does anyone know if the issue on Meta Quest 2 headsets was resolved where if you try to link your meta and Ubisoft accounts it wouldnt work? Also is the TNG DLC bundled with the game on Meta store as it doesnt mention it

How do you get friends to play with you? I can't seem to add anyone. Do I have to become friends with people through the Ubisoft site and that will connect them to me in-game? Also, are they still pulling the plug? As of now, it's still playable through the Oculus 2... although I don't know if they've added content and fixes recently or if Ubisoft has just forgotten about it.

Just tried on PC and closed just hope PS4 Version is still playable even in single player as the PC / Steam / UbiSoft version won't even load correctly now. All I get is the connecting screen and nothing else

Ok. Seems that the game was delisted twice but now it’s back. There is apparently a license issue however. SO.. I believe eventually people won’t be able to buy it but will able to play it

Sad, really sad. While these graphically underwhelming mobile games like Fleet Command and Timelines exist now for over half a decade (Timelines 8 years, Fleet Command close to 6 years) because of their questionable ways of making insane amounts of money, the really promising Star Trek games such as Adversaries, Bridge Crew etc. get shut down not long after taking off. :(

I don't know, but I bought it on the Oculus store without realizing the reviews and it has an issue where it can't link Ubisoft account with Oculus and if it can't it won't get past the startup screen, so it is unplayable and a brick for a game. Fortunately I got my money back, surprised I am prompted to leave a review but somehow I can't.

Yeah they really need to revamp this game. Use unreal engine 5, turn it into an open universe game where you can do or go anywhere in the galaxy with out following a story line. The story lines in this game are really cheesy. Your VR really sucks, its like your bobbing you dam head all around makes me wanna throw up lol.

Star Trek is a destroyed franchise. Discovery cancelled after one last season, Picard Cancelled, Prodigy cancelled. Paramount is going broke shilling these bad woke reboots. I can understand Ubisofts decision to not spend more money on a dead franchise at this point.
