I'm 26 years old and I started watching star trek at the age of 8, I Voyager was the first show I remember watching with my mum and dad, they told me it was a show of infinite possibilities and wonders, sadly my mum passed away when I was 12 and the one show that helped me through that loss was Enterprise because of how connected you could feel to the characters. Star trek is for dreamers and those who hope for a better future, this franchise will endure as it already has Live long and prosper!!

The crew-injured bridge of the USS ENTE_PRISE-Λ, Kirk's face (Chris Pine), a look of determination as he looks to Spock (Zach Quinto) for something, searching for anything resembling an ultimate solution! 😬! Khan's remaining crew at helm and at battle stations, load, then launch burning red-photon 🎇-torpedoes. Kirk screams-commands Scotty to eject the Enterprise's tethered deflector array, dangling, while it fires an intense pulse that produces a massive deflector shield that ripples blue waves of energy around the distressed ship! The victor emerges from the billowing starry nebula, with the Federation's top secret GENESis Project spoils in tow and in cargo hold, his bruised nemesis.. in custody, his crew arrested, the wreckage of the Reliant drifts behind in it's wake. A sigh of relief by Sulu. McCoy grips Kirk's shoulder. Chekov's seat is empty. Many members of the Enterprise-Λ crew have sadly been killed in the confrontation with Khan. Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise-Λ have once again defeated Khan and ended his chaotic schemes for Galactic domination.. are also able to aVoid the seemingly impending death of Spock at the deeds of Khan. After celebrating on the bridge, the Enterprise crew sets course for Wolf 359 where a maximum containment facility specifically designed for the captured Khan and his crew awaits. Something doesn't appear correct. The ship's subatomic clock is glitching. Suddenly! Nearing the edge of Wolf 359 and its gaseous behemoths.!. a shape-shifting, glossy black cube transwarp-exits subSpace in front of them! A 🤖-voice hacks the comm: WE ARE THE BORG. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED... THROUGH A SERIES OF PROCEDURES THAT ENTAIL THE INSTALLMENT OF BORG NANO-MACHINES THROUGHOUT YOUR BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS.. ASIDE FROM YOUR VESSEL'S NEURAL NETWORKS. ELECTION IS NOT AN OPTION. The already battered Enterprise is easily outmatched. Until.. several quantum torpedoes completely burst one side of the Borg cube. Another ship appears! The name of ENTERPRISE-D fills in panorama! She consummates her attack on the impossible Borg construct! It explodes! Meanwhile, on the ergodynamic bridge of the Enterprise-D: 😐. Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Tom Hardy) is satisfied and crosses his arms firmly. First Commander William T. Riker (Chris Evans) utters a fitting one-liner from his bearded lips. Second Commander Data (Tom Hiddleston), straight-faced and silent, adjusts and then flips on a single toggle of a touch-panel hologram interface.. 👉:.:🕹 ..as he delivers his prognosis of the situation to Lieutenant Commander Geordi Laforge (Anthony Mackie) who scans for remaining traces of Borg nanomachinery; a raised personalized-engineering visor over his forehead; his eyes are gray-cybernetic. Lieutenant Worf (Dave Batista) 😬-grimaces at the sight of the extinguished-demolished cube and pumps his 💪! Ensign Catherine Janeway slumps into her chair as youthful Helmsman Benjamin Sisko wipes his sweat-beaded brow with the sleeve of his red-shirt. Councilor Deanna Troi (Aishwarya Rai) is permafrost, cool, 😑, and unmoving. Kirk and Uhura embrace aghast on board the Enterprise-Λ, see the aglow title of Enterprise... -D closing at stern! 🤔. Spock raises his right eye brow, unshaken, unafraid. 🤨. Through the view screen, as they make their way toward the obviously assimilated containment station free floating in space, the crew of the Enterprise-Λ see dozens of blown-out Borg cubes littering the space of Wolf 359. Clearly the handiwork of the incredible Enterprise-D and Captain Picard! Thus begins a time twisting Star Trek tale that delves into the very unique character of Gene Roddenberry's beloved franchise and quantum entangles it with real theory- solar system engulfing time crystals that have captured-captivated two generations of Enterprise that must contend with a new horror in time traveling Borg that are attempting to gain access to their own future technologies while striving to gain command over Earth's past, to defeat in absolute the entire Federation and the Galaxy in one fell swoop! The lightly-grizzled, white-haired Khan being the villainous quantum key in the balance who's holding both the Borg's ultimate victory over the Alpha Quadrant and the Enterprises' thrilling joint destiny against total annihilation and absolute victory over the Borg forever!" :.: Plays while you read the "treatment", as a teaser to the teaser trailer : kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4S1ppKXo7ljhrc :.: (At the same time..) A vision of Commander Data played by Tom Hiddleston plays to-- teases true Star Trek fans! : i.pinimg.com/originals/c0/09/64/c00964caaf27b6fc9f8575373c2a54f0.jpg

I hate to burst your bubble but in order to obtain a utopia you have to destroy evil, but in order to do that you have to become that very evil yourself. So in the end, you end up becoming no different from ones who oppressed you in the first place. And religion isn't evil, it's the people who use it for the wrong reasons who are. The same goes for any form of politics, business, or an object to used to kill someone. They are only tools and ideas that are used by people for different reasons. Some are good and some bad. I love _Star Trek_ as much as as the next person but there are certain things about it that I will never agree with because of how it goes against human nature.

Bradlard Studios We won’t ever make it to a true utopia during our lifetimes, or perhaps any lifetime, because society doesn’t change on a dime just because we meet some interstellar alien race. It takes decades, centuries, for change to take hold. And when certain systems have been in place for millennia or are even inherent to mankind, they may never change at all. Currency will never be abolished, greed will never be overcome, and people will never just stop disagreeing and get along. I’m sorry, but you asked for it when you condemned realists to die in hell. We all must eventually recognize that reality is not Star Trek.

Dave V We've got STAR TREK ONLINE. They just released the 9th season (bringing back most of the original actors from Voyager as they return to the Delta Quadrant). Tim Russ returns as Admiral Tuvok and will be joined by Garrett Wang as Harry Kim, commanding officer of the U.S.S. Rhode Island. Robert Picardo returns as The Doctor and Ethan Phillips again plays Neelix (now a colony administrator) -- and most awesome of all, Jeri Ryan returns as Seven of Nine. In previous seasons they got Denise Crosby to reprise her role as Tasha Yar in the episode "Temporal Ambassador" which had a pretty good story; They have Leonard Nimoy as Spock (old Spock, who disappeared while trying to save the Romulans -- but us viewers know what really happened to him); and they are talking about getting Johnathan Frakes to come back and play Admiral Riker. If you are thirsting for more Star Trek stories, but set just a few decades further into the future, then there are now 9 seasons of stories just waiting for you on Star Trek Online --- which is FREE just in case you didn't know. I'd LOVE to wake up one day and hear that Sam Dillard has gotten a big $$$ contract to do some music for Star Trek Online -- or like you mentioned, an entirely NEW Star Trek show. Either one, just as long as we get more Star Trek, and more music from this genius composer.

Automatik I also hope the next STAR TREK movie is good. Some people complained about the new JJ Abrams movies, but I thought they were both really good. I was NOT a JJ Abrams fan, I hated almost everything he had done previously and I was definitely NOT THRILLED when I heard they had handed STAR TREK over to him, but he did a GREAT job! And now I am eager to see what we get in the 3rd film. Roberto Orci was set to direct, but as of 14 hours ago IMDB has reported that Orci is out, with no mention of a replacement --- I sure hope this does NOT turn into another Hollywood drama-fest like the one that killed the HALO move in 2008. If something does derail the movies, then we better at least get a new TV series. It would be beyond stupid for Hollywood to abandon one of the biggest and most established fan-bases ever created.

It's easy to be dizzy with fear when contemplating how insignificant we are in the massive endless space that is the cosmos... countless stars, comprising countless galaxies and everything drifting apart from each other. Fear and despair about the hopelessness of being alone. But when listening to THIS track.... you get such a sense of optimism... like, we don't know anything about what's out there, but we are MEANT to... we are meant to go there, if not you or me, then someone else will eventually do it. This song gives hope for humanity and the belief that we will be able to spread out and one day truly make our home among the stars.

This makes me proud to be a Trekkie, and part of Starfleet, and with the hope of a better future for the next generations. Live long and prosper. Edit on Nov. 29th, 2022 (with my cat on my lap): Hoping for society to become less selfish and aggressive, and less complicated, stupid and to strive for a better future for our children and their children, and grandchildren (and for our pets), and with a future out in our galaxy (especially if we destroy Earth anyway).

I had the same reaction for the beginning as well. Grew up with Classic and would watch it -every time it came on and i was home/shopping in stores with the TV on-, fell in love with DS9. Can't say I cared too much for the rest of the versions, but those two alone were enough to make me a Trekker forever. Beam me up, Scotty.

Last year I was diagnosed with PTSD, for weeks at a time I’ve just shut down but then I listen to this and am reminded of my childhoood and the words come to me, from somewhere deep within: “Go Boldly.” Three continents, a war, and a decade later... I’m moved to tears. To live... is to boldly go where I haven’t gone before.

Man Conquered the first frontier that was land. It wouldn’t take very long after for man to conquer the second frontier that was the ocean. Then man eventually conquered the third frontier that was the air. And once there were no more frontiers left on earth some people settled, some stoped exploring and gave up. But then there was those who never stoped dreaming, never stoped achieving. And eventually man set out on the 4th frontier space the final frontier, these are the voyages of the human race. Their ongoing mission to seek out that witch they have not, to achieve that witch they haven’t, to believe, discover, understand, uncover, expand, find, learn, to explore...to boldly go where no one has gone before. Let us hope these type of people the dreamers and achievers never fully go away or die out.

We haven't really conquered the second frontier, we know more about the surfaces of Mars and the Moon than we know of the ocean depths. However maybe we can finally reach for the stars when we start to grow up and behave in a civilised manner towards each other. We have so much to offer, yet we spend more on destruction than we do on exploration! Maybe it will happen one day, but alas I won't be around when it does.

It's wonderful how this musical arrangement takes many people on a journey through their memories of 'Star Trek'. The characters, actors and actresses; the effect it had on them and their families; it's cultural impacts; and not forgetting it's humour. For 6.5 minutes we are whisked away to a better place to eventually be gently set down to leave inspirational comments for others. "To all mankind -- may we never find space so vast, planets so cold, heart and mind so empty that we cannot fill them with love and warmth."

I feel that this perfectly captures the wonder and mystery of the world that Star Trek gives us. It is one hell of a future for Humans to strive for; a glorious world where the problems of today are; (at least mostly) solved and we serve as one of the founder species of the United Federation of Planets which sounds like a sovereign entity of which we haven't developed yet. If I get to pick which fictional world to live in it would definitely be the world of star trek. Alas, Star Trek Online will have to do for now.
